"American Horror Story" veteran Evan Peters has revealed his initial reaction when he found out that Lady Gaga is joining the upcoming season 5 of the FX horror anthology series, subtitled "Hotel."

"First of all, I didn't know the name of the show and second of all, I didn't know that Lady Gaga was going to be on it," Peters told Cosmopolitan during an interview promoting his new drama film "Safelight."

"So [when I saw the video announcement of her casting on Twitter] I was like, 'This is badass.'"

Peters, who will play Dr. March in the new installment, has never worked with Lady Gaga before, so he couldn't wait to finally meet her on the set. "I'm so excited to work with her and to see her on the show," the 28-year-old actor told the outlet.

Asked how he's going to call the Mother Monster -- Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta  in real life -- the "X-Men: Apocalypse" actor said that he will call her Lady Gaga, Ms. Gaga or Stefanie "depending on the situation."

"[but] actually, I want to call her Stefanie," Peters continued. "I think it would be really cool to call Lady Gaga by her first name. Or Gags [pronounced GAHGZ]."

Apparently, Peters isn't the only returning "American Horror Story" actor who's excited to work with the 29-year-old "Born This Way" hitmaker.

Matt Bomer, who will play Donovan on "Hotel," revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he's a huge Gaga fan. "I think she's a profoundly gifted artist," Bomer said. "I really looking forward to collaborating with her, because I know she's going to bring so much to the table. I know loosely what our storyline is so I'm really excited about that."

Sarah Paulson, on the other hand, expressed her excitement for the opportunity to bond with Gaga in an episode of The Wrap's "Drinking with the Stars: Emmy Edition."

"I will not have succeeded in this season if I do not have a way of contacting her directly, like a cell phone number, by the end of the season," said Paulson who will play Hypodermic Sally in the upcoming installment. "It will be very embarrassing to me if we don't become really tight, close friends. The fact that I'm announcing that I want that is what should be terrifying to Lady Gaga."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" will premiere in October on FX.
