the xx - On Hold

Album : I See You

the xx have also suffered a bit of a sophomore slump with Coexist all the way back in 2013 so they took their sweet time out in order to come back with an album that seems to have a great potential based on the lead single, On Hold. It's quality pop music and Jamie XX taking the reigns completely in terms of production, it's dynamic, glossy and replay worthy. clap3

Kanye West - Fade

Album : The Life of Pablo

Fade's video simply has so much replay value it was impossible for me not to grow fond of the song as well, this is basically it. A deeply house influenced track sort of reminiscing of the 808 days of good ol' Kanye, Fade is filthy but makes me crave and ask for more of it, always.

Ariana Grande - Side To Side (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Album : Dangerous Woman

Dangerous Woman is filled with earworms and Side To Side is definitely one of them. Catchy from the very first second, this reggae infused bop won't simply go away unless you play it for like 100 times a day. It actually made me miss Onika as well, need new material, Queen of Rap.

Sia - Waving Goodbye

Album : The Neon Demon OST

I often can't help but wonder how many songs does this woman record per year because the results might be astonishing to think of as she simply seems to have so many of them ready to go out into the world. And I'm thankful for most of them, including this little fella here which was relegated to soundtrack status, Waving Goodbye, a song about, well, goodbyes. I think it was meant to be sold to some pop girl judging on the production but maybe Sia kept it and she's gone a good thing by doing so. "So one hand is holding yours while the other is waving goodbye...

Drake - Too Good (feat. Rihanna)

Album : Views

Views often sounds dull to the point it just becomes forgettable but that doesn't mean if has a few highlights, Too Good being one of them, being blessed by no other than the queen of music, Rihanna; she also elevates the track a lot to no one's surprise. It's poppy, a bit reflective but all in all fun and carefree. PLEASE MORE OF THIS, DRAKE, STOP PRETENDING YOU'RE A RAPPER.

Moderat - Reminder

Album : Moderat III

Trippy as fuck and unlike other electronica tracks out there, it's all I'm gonna say. I LIVE for how well this song is put together and it was actually one of the very first songs of 2016 that I fell in love with.

Britney Spears - Make Me... (feat. G-Eazy)

Album : Glory

This midtempo jam we all here must know by know simply deserved better and it would've done better in the hands of a more competent pop star/team. The song is great, the atmosphere is great and Britney simply delivers on it. All in all, it should've done and could've done so, so well and bring Britney back to tier 1 level. Instead...
