Heh, yea, that was some consolation. It's pretty much understood that our musical taste has almost no overlap, but it got somewhat annoying after a bit. When he talked about his dislike for boy bands being "manufactured" and feeling that being put together by managers somehow makes them disingenuous, I said that old bands like AC/Dc and Judas Priest pretty much do the same thing, changing their whole lineup and auditioning people they've never met a shitload of times over the years, but he just denied it lol. My father always thinks Ariana is "screaming" instead of singing.  It ain't funny tho, when I play her music and he's at home he starts screaming really loud through it it's fucking annoying  He loves Gaga tho, he went with me to the Born This Way Ball. My mama loves Mariah & Gaga tho. 

 

My mother loves gaypopicona like Madonna, and she was a huge fan of George Michael and stuff. My dad is more like a hardrocker, he loves Golden Earring, AC/DC and that kind of music.

My dad would deny it but he loves 80s Madonna. I got him TIC once and he has never taken it out of his car. You turn the engines on and Madonna starts playing

My mom is more into her 90s music, because she was a stay at home mom and used to paint while playing Bedtime Stories as my sister and me would play or do our homeworks. Her favorite song is Take a Bow she LOVES the music video too.

 

My sisters love pop music as much as I do tbh. Excpet for one of the faves: Beyoncé. They absolutely hate her for no reason 

The oldest is a bit pretentious and listens to all those overrated shitty bands but I've seen her loose her shit at Madge and Brit's concerts

I was in the car with my dad (Southern white guy) one time listening to the radio and it was S&M of all songs and he said that Rihanna has one of the best female voices in music  .  His favorite song by her is stay.
