Bubble 525
Did their posthumous career boost their wealth and fame more than it would have if they were alive? I'm not disputing that each one of them had great recognition in their respected genres before their passing, but would they be considered pop icons now if they were allowed to live at least to their 30s? Would Aaliyah be a movie/pop sensation or a recurring cast member for Tyler Perry movies? Would the Tupac/Biggie feud go on for so long that it just became sad that two grown men were fighting over imaginary hip-hop terrority and the likes of Nelly and Eminem wouldve naturally taken over as the new millenium approched? Would Selena's English crossover still have been a US smash if she was alive? Would it have become the best selling female latin pop album in the US? What do you think?
