I have only watched Arrival out of the nominees, and it's a pretty good movie, I'm glad it's getting recognition. I also kind of hope Meryl will win her nomination just to hear her speech because I know for sure she will make a reference to being the "most overrated actress".

Meryl isn't even in the running to win.

Natalie, Isabelle or Emma will be winning since they've been the most talked about this award season.

The only time Meryl has won for Florence Foster Jenkins was at the Critics Choice Awards and that's because Natalie, Isabelle and Emma weren't in the category.

Yeah but I didn't even see Slumdog Millionaire or that James Franco stuck in mountains movie or DiCaprio suffering through something.

oh, so you're more of an artsy film fan moo1 I think Slumdog Millionaire is great, I didn't watch James Franco stuck in mountains either and I was bored 30 minutes into the DiCaprio movie, people say it gets crazy after that 30 minutes but couldn't wait longer.
