'Applause' debuts on the Hot 100 at #6

Recommended Posts

Her VMA's performance could really help the song propel more.

I feel like Paparazzi would've charted higher from that performance if Kanye wouldn't have been Sir Douche-A-Lot that night. The performance would've easily been the highlighted story, but instead it was overshadowed by Kanye.

STAY OUT OF THIS VMA'S KANYE.

I honestly feel that with the video views and spotify, its great radio updates and being steady at #4 on iTunes it could totally go #4 next week on the Hot 100 and that'd be fantastic.

I dont want another #6 peak tbh

I think it will peak at No. 3 in 2 weeks. Thanks to the video and VMAs. It is very unlikely that it will just stay at No 6.

amazing peak!!

Can you not troll the artist section please?

Anyway, I'm happy with this. I hope her digital sales are steady. She will easily claim a top 5 hit next week or the following. Would be nice to see her peak in the top 2 but Blurred Lines is going to have to drop a lot both digitally and on radio.
