Gaming | Vol. 1

Gaming | Vol. 1 Hiya, people! It's been a while since I posted a blog, and I'm really getting back into the gaming scene,
specifically for my Nintendo 3DS, so I thought I'd jot something down for a new blog entry.
I'll post some of my all time favorite games, which ones I have and which ones I definitely want to have. It all happened when I downloaded the free app; Animal Crossing, Pocket Camp. I got addicted to it in no time. Now I can't wait to get my hands on Animal Crossing New Leaf and I was just wondering if there are any other AC fans here?
Anyway, feeling the joy of playing that app really rekindled my love for my DS games and dusted off my wishlist to try and prioritize which ones I want and also see what else is out there that I've been missing out on. So if you guys have any recommendations based on the games I own and that I want to own, please let me know! GAMES I OWN Professor Layton My biggest love and #1 game series will always be; Professor Layton. I was a fan from the very beginning and trust me, I teared up and was insanely excited when I heard about Lady Layton. <3  Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Diary of an Otaku #4

~ Diary of an Otaku ~
#4 Finally I'm back with another Diary entry for my Otaky needs. I still have an endless list of Animes I want to watch, and also an equally long list of Manga I want to read.
Now, on the latter I was definitely procrastinating hard, because my local library doesn't have any manga to lend out, which sucks. But thankfully, I found a great online source where I can read them, so I can get started on that as well.  And definitely during this time of year, I'll have more time to devote attention to my hobbies.   I'll start with the Anime I'll be watching. ¤ Tsuki ga Kirei ¤ Summary: Kotarou Azumi and Akane Mizuno became third year students at junior high school and are classmates for the first time. These two, along with fellow classmates, Chinatsu Nishio and Takumi Hira, relate to their peers through mutual understandings and feelings. As their final year at junior high school progresses, the group overcome their challenges to mature and become aware of changes in themselves. ¤ Clione no Akari ¤ Finally! This is one I've really been looking forward to, even though it seems to be getting bad ratings, I don't really care until I've seen something for myself. And honestly, a lot of people are saying Attack on Titan is overrated, well, I never let that stop me either.  Summary: The story centers around an illness-stricken, constantly bullied orphan girl named Minori. After one rainy day, she doesn't turn up at school, having been admitted into a hospital in a distant town. Two months pass, and the girl's two school friends, Takashi and Kyōko, receive a mysterious email with no sender listed. The email reveals a summer festival taking place at a nearby town ....   ¤ Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka? /
WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us? ¤ Summary: Five hundred years have passed since the humans went extinct at the hands of the fearsome and mysterious 'Beasts'. The surviving races now make their homes up on floating islands in the sky, out of reach of all but the most mobile of Beasts. Only a small group of young girls, the Fairies, can wield the ancient weapons needed to fend off invasions from these creatures. Into the girls’ unstable and fleeting lives, where a call to certain death could come at any moment, enters an unlikely character: a young man who lost everything in his final battle five hundred years ago, the last living human awakened from a long, icy slumber. Unable to fight any longer, Willem becomes the father that the girls never had, caring for and nurturing them even as he struggles to come to terms with his new life, in which he feels the pain of helplessly waiting for his loved ones to return home from battle that his 'Daughter' once felt for him so long ago. Together, Willem and the girls gradually come to understand what family means and what is truly worth protecting.   ¤ The Royal Tutor¤ Summary: Accepting the post of Royal Tutor at the court of the king of Grannzreich, Heine Wittgenstein is a little professor with a big job ahead! Each of the kingdom's four princes has a rather distinct personality. Does their diminutive new instructor have what it takes to lay down some learning? It's a comedy of educational proportions!    Off to the Manga I'll be trying out! Bokura Wa Minna Kawaisou Bokutachi wa benkyou ga dekinai Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?   Hope to update this again soon!   As always, leave any recommendations, and if wished to be removed from the taglist, let me know.

Bob's Burgers Christmas Episodes Ranked!

Bob's Burgers Christmas Episodes Ranked! Since I'm obsessed with anything Bob's Burgers, and Christmas is my favorite time of the year (and just around the corner) this was bound to happen.
Allow me to rank the Christmas episodes from least favorite to absolute favorite!  Also, helps me get even more pumped about the fact that this upcoming weekend, we'll be getting an hour long Christmas Special from the Belchers! Allllriiiiight! I can barely conceal my joy!  Sadly the first two seasons didn't have a Christmas episode. But starting season 3, annual Christmas episodes it is!   Here we go!   Season 5 / Episode 6 "Father of the Bob" Okay, it's not like I don't like this episode at all, but one of them has to be placed lowest, right?
Reasons to love this episode;
- We take a trip down memory lane and get some more background information on why Bob and his dad have such a troubling relationship
- Seeing the Belcher kids searching for a perfect Christmas present for Bob in the basement is amusing to say the least.
- Also Bob and his dad line dancing ... need I say more? 7.5/10 Season 3 / Episode 9: "God rest ye merry Gentle-Mannequins"  This one is funny, just as much as... disturbing? There are still some amazing comical highlights though.
Definitely worth the watch to get into the festive mood!   - What's on the kids' wishlist this year is also amazing
- Linda stumping her feet while yelling at Bob; priceless!
- Was he really a mannequin or what? 8/10 Season 7 / Episode 7: "The Last Gingerbread House on the Left" Linda and her Christmas caroling, Bob in his building gingerbread houses competition,
one of the sweetest polar bear babies being born.. It doesn't get more festive than that! - Mr. Fischoeder and Felix are making an appearance!
- Them thinking that guy murdered a bunch of people...
- And all the cuddling with the cute polar bear! 9/10 Season 6 / Episode 5:" Nice-Capades" This is an amazing runner-up for #1! The Blecher kids go full out to convince Mall Santa that they've been good this year.
They make a song and costumes and everything, and of course embellish their stories a tad to perform the perfect nice capades. - Felix in ice-skating costume, eat your heart out, Yuri!
- Mr. Fischoeder singing Bourbon about a thousand times..
- Louise asking for her own pet shark
A definite must watch for the season! 9.5/10 Season 4 / Episode 8; "Christmas in the Car" This is my absolute favorite Christmas Episode! EVER! There are too many good things to mention, so allow me to bombard you with gifs of some of the greatest moments from this masterpiece: To start off with Tina accusing Bob he has this girl walk, and apparently he goes like; Linda putting up the Christmas tree waaay too early.. something like, this; Onto this amazing priceless dialogue!   And with that, I rest my case! A Merry Christmas to all of you lovely people that celebrate! <3  10/10   I might also be doing this in the future for their Thanksgiving, Halloween and Valentine Days episode.

Unread Books Project

My Unread Books Challenge   Okay, so I'm not sure how many people are actually interested in reading this, but the thing is, I am a bookworm. Other thing is, I love to collect books and Donald Duck Pockets (<is what they're called here in Holland) I count a total of 224 books and 116 pockets in my collection.
Problem is, I often buy new books, instead of first reading a descent amount of the books that I currently already own. And visiting the library from time to time doesn't really help with that. So right now, I kinda wanna start my own project of reading more of my own books than purchasing them.  Right now I haven't read 80 of the books that I own.  LORD, HELP ME! It's really confronting to actually see those numbers. I never thought it would be that much, dear Jesus! Out of my Donald Duck Collection I've only read 41 pockets out of the 116.  Who's interested to follow the progress I'm gonna (try) to make?  Disclaimer: I see a ton of books in my collection that I bought when I still went to High School and I actually don't really feel that much of a desire to pick them up and actually read them, but I can't deal with getting rid of them or anything either. I'm already procrastinating.    P.S. If you wish to be removed from any future taglists, please let me know!

Revive -Apple Music-

-Apple Music- Okay, guys, here's the thing. I've been having an Apple Music subscription for a very long time, but I mostly spend it listening to (amazing) soundtracks. Like from the Studio Ghibli movies, Disney movies, even from amazing games like; Monument Valley & Journey and the list goes on.
But I actually really want to get into some new -underdog- music and artists. So from now on this blog entry is open for any recommendations. I will start with taking on different albums. I think I'll pick about four albums for every week. And I'm open to all kind of recommendations! Dairy of an Otaku #3

~ Dairy of an Otaku ~
#3 My God, I just realized it's been 2 months since I posted in this Blog. Such a shame, I've been slacking Anime lately.
But now, I'm back at it again and just wanted to mention I re-watched both seasons of Attack on Titan.
Gave to stay strong to wait another year (if we're lucky) for some new material. But I loved the OVA's especially the one about Levi's backstory. Also finished the Attack on Titan Junior one today. Nothing too special, but it was amusing.  So by saying this I want to make an overview of things I'll be watching ASAP and we'll see what I can get to in this week.
I'm of course always looking for recommendations so leave them in the comments below!  ON BOARD TO WATCH ¤ Alice & Zouroku ¤ I remember trying out the first episode of this one and enjoying it and feeling intrigued to find out more about the story. And now that it's been two months since I posted for the last time, I checked and all the episodes are online now. So will definitely be watching! Summary: The story centers on a little girl called Sana, who is one of the children that holds the power of "Alice's Dream," an ability that enables her to materialize anything she imagines. After escaping a lab where she was a test subject, Sana ends up in a normal world where she encounters an old man named Zouroku, but will he help her?   ¤ Hinako Note ¤ Definitely loved the first episode of this one and the final episode of this one has also been posted online. I can not wait to finish this one. The characters were all so cute and the scenery was breathtaking, so I'm excited to see how this storyline unfolds. Summary: Hinako is a shy little girl whom animals are instinctively drawn to. Because of this, Hinako works as a scarecrow to keep said animals away from the crops in her neighbors fields. Thus the tale of the scarecrow girl begins!
¤ The Eccentric Family ¤ I've been looking forward to watching this one! It has two seasons, so I've got some serious bing-ing to do. Haven't seen anything of this one yet, with all the gifs with the animals and magic that I've seen is already getting me excited and there's not much more persuading I need. Summary: In Kyoto, there are three kinds of residents: humans, raccoon dogs, and tengu. Shimogamo Yasaburou is the third son of the Shimogamo raccoon dog family. His father, Souichirou, had been the head of Kyoto raccoon dog community until he was eaten by the human members of "Friday Club". While taking care of old tengu, fighting with other raccoon dogs, and playing with a psychic human girl, Yasaburou approaches the truth of his father's death.   TRY-OUTS FOR UPCOMING WEEK ¤ Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka? /
WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us? ¤ Summary: Five hundred years have passed since the humans went extinct at the hands of the fearsome and mysterious 'Beasts'. The surviving races now make their homes up on floating islands in the sky, out of reach of all but the most mobile of Beasts. Only a small group of young girls, the Fairies, can wield the ancient weapons needed to fend off invasions from these creatures. Together, Willem and the girls gradually come to understand what family means and what is truly worth protecting. Two months pass, and the girl's two school friends, Takashi and Kyōko, receive a mysterious email with no sender listed. The email reveals a summer festival taking place at a nearby town .... SIDE-NOTE: Sagrada Reset won't finish until September, so I'm gonna wait with that one.   Once again, let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the taglist. RECOMMENDATIONS:

Dairy of an Otaku #2

~ Dairy of an Otaku ~ #2 Hi, guys! Another week has passed, so thought it was about time to post a new entry.
Let's get on to what I watched past week and what I'm gonna try out next week. FINISHED PAST WEEK Attack on Titan (Season 2) WHOA! #SHOOK! OMG!
I literally just finished this, and I can't even find words to describe how obsessed I am with this! I binged it within 2 days and now I'm gonna feel down, because I'm gonna have to wait a whole year for the third season. If we're lucky... if you know what I mean. This was an amazing watch and I'll be in suspense 'til 2018 for sure!
This left me with more questions than the ending of the first season tho. So many plot twists, so much mystery, too many questions! Of course I'm giving this a 10/10 stars!    She and her Cat: Everything Flows This was a very short watch as there were only 4 episodes and they were all about 7 minutes. I can recommend this to all animal lovers, and especially for owners of the feline furries.   WARNING: straight-in-the-feels-alert ! I'm giving this 9/10 stars. :3   ON BOARD TO WATCH   Alice & Zouroku I tried out one episode, and I was pleasantly surprised. At first when I saw the art work of the Anime, it looked cutesy and heartfelt / uplifting.
It turned out to be way more dark and grim than I expected though, and I ended up being really intrigued and interested to see how the rest of this story unfolds. The final episode will be uploaded next week, so I'll be reviewing the first season in my next blog entry.   Polar Bear Cafe This looks totally adorable and goofy enough for me to absolutely LOVE!
It does have 50 episodes though, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to put up a full review by next week.   Hinako Note I've already seen the first episode and completely fell in love with it. Next week the final episode will be uploaded, so full review coming up soon.   TRY-OUTS FOR UPCOMING WEEK: The Eccentric Family First things I noticed about this Anime is that it involves; animals, magic, slice of life, perfect ingredients for an Anime that I'll love!
Trying out the first episode upcoming week.
There are already 2 seasons, with a total of 25 episodes and the final one will be uploaded June 25th.

Summary:
n Kyoto, there are three kinds of residents: humans, raccoon dogs, and tengu. Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka? /
WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us? I'm really excited to try out one episode of this Anime. On first impression this looks witchy/magical/distopian..
Final episode of the first season will be uploaded on June 27th. Summary:
The fleeting and sad story about little girls known as fairy weapons and an associate hero that survived. This is a world after it was attacked by unidentified monsters known as beasts and many of the species in the world, including humans, had been destroyed. The species that had managed to survive left the ground and were living on a floating island called Regal Ele. Willem Kumesh, wakes up above the clouds 500 years later and couldn’t protect the ones who he wanted to protect. Actually, he was living in despair because he was the only survivor. He then ends up meeting a group of girls while starting an unexpected weapon management job.   Tsuki ga Kirei This just looks very cute and light, which Imma need after those slaughters in Attack on Titan.
The final episode of the first season will be uploaded on June 29th. Summary:
It’s the third year of middle school. Kotaro, a bookish boy aspiring to become a novelist, and Akane, a track girl who loves to run, meet in the same class together for the first time. They’re put in charge of the equipment for the sports festival, and slowly grow closer via LINE. How does Kotaro deal with his growing feelings for her? Meanwhile, Takumi has been in love with Akane since first year, and Akane’s friend, Chinatsu, becomes interested in Kotaro. A refreshing story of young love set in Kawagoe.   Side-Note Clione no Akari This one finally has a premiere date, so I'm gonna mark my calendars on
July 13!   I enjoyed the first episode of Sagrada Reset, but the final episode is planned for September, so I'm gonna put that one on hold 'til then.   Well, see you guys again next week!
Recommendations are still more than welcome and I'll try to fit them in as much as I can.
Let me know if you no longer wish to be tagged as well.

Dairy of an Otaku. #1

~ Dairy of an Otaku ~
#1 Hi, guys! I'm back with a brand new entry after a bit over a week! There's plenty more for me to watch, so I'm just gonna go through this swiftly.

FINISHED PAST WEEK.

Noragami Okay, so past week I got to finish the two seasons of Noragami. It was amazing! I can recommend this Anime if you're into:
Supernatural
Spiritual
Heartfelt
A bit horror/creepy
I'm giving this show a 8.5/10 stars! The first season was a bit hard to get into some times, but the second season, surpassed the first in SO many ways! Results; instant new crushes and sobbing at the end was inevitable.

Another

I also watched the one and only season of Another and the OVA; the Other. This show was amazing! It had 12 episodes (+ the bonus OVA) and I finished it in two days. I was HOOKED! The art was beautiful and it gives you this constant eerie feeling. I would definitely re-watch this and I recommend to all who love:
Suspense
Mystery
Gore
Thriller/Horror
I'm giving this show a 10/10 stars! It's definitely one of my new favorites, even after finishing it about 4 days ago, it still crosses my mind.    ON BOARD TO WATCH: Grimoire of Zero I tried out the first episode of this Anime, and it was kinda too slow paced for me. There was a lot of talking, which I understand is of course a big part of the world building, but I felt like half of the episode had just one same scene. But the ending however had me intrigued enough to give it a full try another time.  The full first season will be completed on June 26th, so I'll be giving it a try during the end of this month, or begin July.  Hinako Note Okay, I tried out the first episode from this one and was instantly in LOVE! These kind of slice-of-life Anime shows are so adorable and relatable! The scenery is amazing and you get this 'home' vibe from which I personally really love. As you can see in the gif, there's Chibi in this as well, KAWAII <3 The full first season will be here on June 24th, so I'm definitely gonna binge-watch it then to leave a full review. Side-Note: I also listed Natsume's Book of Friends, but I discovered it wasn't the first season premiering at all, it's season SIX! So for that one I will have a lot of catching up to do, so for now, it's on a slow burner.    TRY-OUTS FOR UPCOMING WEEK: She and her Cat: Everything Flows Okay, so I love cats, I love Anime, this has to be amazing! It's only 4 episodes long, so this one will be easily finished.
Summary:
For the longest time, it's just been the two of them. "Kanojo" and her cat Daru are inseparable, having grown up together. Now a junior in college, Tomoka—her roommate of a year and a half—moves out of their shared apartment, and in order to keep her living space, Kanojo must find a job. Day by day, Daru watches her continued efforts from a cat's-eye view, eagerly awaiting his owner's return. When she gets back, once again, it's just she and her cat. Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko: Everything Flows is a charming short series about the bond between a pet and his owner.  Sakurada Reset This one just looks cute and sounds very interesting, so I'm gonna give this one a try as well.
Summary:
Almost half the population of the town of Sakurada possess special abilities. Misora Haruki has the power to reset time for a maximum of three days into the past; Kei Asai has a photographic memory that allows him to remember everything he sees and hears, even after Misora resets time. Together, they use their powers to help others… It is set for 24 episodes which will finish in September this year. (according to Trakt.tv) Alice & Zouroku The summary really reeled me in for this one.
It is set to have 12 episodes and the final one will be on June 25th, so if the first episode is interesting enough, I know what I'll be watching end of this month.
Summary:
A group of young girls possesses a mysterious power which gives them the ability to materialize their thoughts. Detained and experimented upon, these youths are locked away in secret until one of them manages to escape. Her name is Sana—a girl with the power to ignore the very laws of physics. When this wilful powerhouse crosses paths with a stubborn old man named Zouroku, his carefully-ordered life will never be the same again!   UPCOMING: Clione no Akari This will be dropped somewhere in the Summer but it looks interesting and when I read the Summary, I got even more excited for this one! Summary:
Minori is an illness-stricken, constantly bullied orphan. After one rainy day, she doesn't turn up at school, having been admitted into a hospital in a distant town. Two months pass, and the girl's two school friends, Takashi and Kyōko, receive a mysterious email with no sender listed. The email reveals a summer festival taking place at a nearby town.   MANGA Sadly, I had no time more Manga last week. Thing is, I'm still waiting for two volumes to arrive.
Either way, upcoming week I do want to get started on my Death Note omnibuses, so I hope to have a Manga review up soon!     Again; any recommendations are welcome and if you wish to no longer be tagged, let me know.

I'm still a newbie in this, but hey, I guess majority of us can't help but feel nostalgic when someone mentions Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, you catch my drift.
So, where am I gonna start?
I'll probably do weekly of by weekly blog entries about new and old Anime I've gotten into and also of course the Manga I've been reading.
I took a little look around and found some interesting (currently running) Anime titles I'm willing to give a chance.
01. Attack on Titan This isn't really one I need to get into, considering I've almost seen the first season about three times since last July, but I can't not mention this one. Because currently season 2 is airing and according to Trakt.tv the final episode of said season is gonna be on June 17th. So I'll probably wait 'til 3 days before then, so I can just binge-watch the whole thing!
Summary:
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by the Titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings, and worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by building a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the largest of Titans. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a Titan in over a hundred years, until one day, a Colossal Titan appears out of thin air and destroys part of the city wall. As teenage boy, Eren Jaeger, and his foster sister, Mikasa Ackerman, witness the destruction of their town and death of their mother at the hands of the Titans, Eren vows to kill every single Titan and take revenge for all of mankind.
  02. Noragami This one I am currently watching. I'm almost done with the first season, and then there's just season two left. I'm really enjoying it so far. Yato is such a BAE. <3
Summary:
Yato, a minor god, dreams to become the most revered deity in the world with big shrine and all. However, being a penniless god that he is, he has a long way to go and his shinki leaving him doesn't help matter. Later, when he does his job, a high school girl named Hiyori Iki pushes him out of the way of a speeding bus; unaware of his status as deity. Things get complicated when this incident triggers abnormality in Hiyori's soul, causing her to make an Astral Projection whenever she falls unconscious. To turn herself back to normal, Hiyori must help Yato becoming a better god who can fix the problem, along with Yato's new shinki, Yukine.

03. Grimoire of Zero The art style pulled my interest for this one and the story line gets me really excited! So far there's only one season and this one recently aired in April and is set for 10 episodes.
I will try out the first episode soon so I can post a review.
Summary:
In Liturgical Year 526, sorcery has spread throughout the land, but few are aware of a rival practice called "magic." One day, a half-man, half-beast mercenary who has found himself on the run encounters a beautiful witch known only as “Zero.” Zero makes him an offer: if he escorts her on the search for her stolen grimoire, she will help him gain a human form. Despite his hatred for witches, the nameless mercenary accompanies Zero and guards her as she sets out to reclaim a book that has the power to destroy the world.
04. Hinako Note This one just sounds so cute! And I can really enjoy a slice-of-life every now and then. Definitely gonna give this one a try as well! It'll probably have 10-12 episodes.
Summary:
Sakuragi Hinako has a hard time talking with others. In order to get over her paralyzing shyness, Hinako leaves her home in the country because she ends up starting school at the high school that has the drama club that she admires and ends up staying at Hitotose-sou. There, she meets Kuina, who loves books and to eat, Mayuki, who’s a bit older but smaller who’s good at cooking, and the quiet landlady, Chiaki-san. A cute and fun drama comedy about the former girl who was paralyzed from shyness.

05. Natsume Yuujinchou Roku
Seeing the art and after reading the summary, it sounds like something I'd be totally into.
Summary:
Precious days with kinds friends. A beautiful yet fleeting story about people and spirits. Natsume Takashi had been able to see youkai ever since he was young and inherited his grandmother Reiko’s Book of Friends. He spends his days with his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei and freeing the youkai that were bound to the book. Natsume continues to find ways to protect the precious days where he tries to find which path to follow through his connections with spirits and those involved with them and being helped out by friends who share the same feelings.
06. Nui Nui Hinobori San Kyoudai This one just looks too cute to pass up!
Summary:
The series will center on the three Hinobori brothers, who run a stuffed toy shop called "Nui Nui" at the end of Tokyo's Kappabashi shopping street. The eldest brother Kaede is the manager, the second son Aoi is in charge of patterns, and the third son Akane is in charge of displays. Honorable mentions I might give a chance later on:
- Asagao to Kase-san.
- Folktales from Japan   Over to the Manga !

This is gonna have a longer wait list for when I'm gonna be getting to these titles, because reading online is not as enjoyable as reading the physical copies.
So for this I'm gonna start of with some copies of Manga I already have in my possession, and put some on my TBR as when I'll be able to purchase them or if I was able to read some chapters online.
01. Attack on Titan Again! Yes, I'm putting this high on the list for my love of the Anime, plus I'll be receiving the first volume soon. Give or take a week..
02. Death Note This series is of course so HYPED! And the reason why I didn't put it on my Anime list, is because I really want to read it first.
I've been gifted the 1st and 2nd omnibus for my Birthday, so that's a total of 4 volumes. I will definitely be getting to this one SOON!
Summary:
Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. One day he finds the "Death Note": a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods, with the power to kill people in any way he desires. With the Death Note in hand, Light decides to create his perfect world, without crime or criminals. However, when criminals start dropping dead one by one, the authorites send the legendary detective L to track down the killer, and a battle of wits, deception and logic ensues...
03. Pokémon Black & White Nostalgia, sentimental, all the feels...
A couple of years ago I bought a box of this series manga, containing the first 8 volumes! And somehow, I only managed to read the first one! #fail
I can't wait to finally read them all!
04. No matter how I look at it, it's your guys' fault I'm not popular Yeah, that rolls off the tongue rather smoothly, doesn't it? It's a mouthful!
Anyways, I read some chapters online and I was instantly hooked! This is just the kind of quirkiness I'm totally into! I can totally recognize myself in this.
I ordered the first volume and hopefully I will receive it soon, because I can not wait to read the rest of it!
Summary:
As a middle schooler, Tomoko Kuroki dreamed of making her high school debut as the most popular girl in school. But all of her experience playing video game dating simulations may have backfired. Instead of preparing her for the real world, her gaming has kept her from it for so long that even the most mundane human interactions have become a stumbling block! How can she impress her classmates when she can't even speak to them?! Very honorable mention: A Silent Voice I've read one and a half volume from this online simply because I could not stop! I don't now when I'll be able to get myself some volumes, but I won't be reading any further until I do, because this story deserves the full treatment!
Summary:
Ishida Shouya bullies a deaf girl, Nishimiya Shouko, to the point that she transfers to another school. As a result, he is ostracized and bullied himself with no friends to speak of and no plans for the future. This is the story of his path to redemption. Now on to some titles I might check out some sampler chapters from soon, to decide if I'm gonna buy me the first volume.
- Royal Tutor
- Flying Witch
- Your name.
- The Water Dragon's Bride
- Ghost Diary   Let me know if you guys are interested in this and whether you'd like to be added or removed from the tag list. Also, feel free to leave any recommendations!

My Three New OPI!

Here they are!  It was definitely worth the wait..  But I always buy from the same sellers, so I knew it wouldn't take too long for them to arrive. Luckily their prices are always insanely good!  I've got a lot of different colors from OPI, but I always wanted to get some Sheer colors, and now I finally got three   These are from the New York City Ballet Collection, from left to right; "Don't Touch My Tutu", "You Callin' Me A Lyre?", "Barre My Soul".
They got shipped out of Woodhaven, New York sent to me, Holland. They were shipped on January 17th and I received them this morning! So, that's like 10 days (actually 8 business days) so, yeah, I think that's super fast!  Well, be right back! Painting my nails!

My Personal Reading Challenge

My Personal Reading Challenge So, as maybe many of you may already know, I love reading books in my free time.  I don't know how many of you may be familiar with Goodreads.com but it's an excellent website to keep track of all the books you're reading and it tells you when you're on Track or when you're behind on schedule, or even Ahead of your own challenge. This year I'm challenging myself to read 35 books. Last year I read 34, so I think I got this, but just as a little motivator I'm gonna post a Blog entry for myself as a little reminder, pusher, pick-me-up'er etc.  So here's my Challenge;
01 out of 35 books read. I've read Seeker, for which I also posted a review in my Blog which you can find here.   But maybe some of you guys remember, I also LOVE magazines! Not just every magazine, but my favorites are; Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour & National Geographic. I have tons of newly bought lying in my room and so many of them are still unread. And they are so thick and I read EVERYTHING that's inside, so I decided to count those along with my Challenge. Because if I'd only motivate myself to read my books, the magazines would remain unread forever! *sigh* Sadly, I can't add the magazines to my Goodreads account for the Challenge, but they DO count the Donald Duck Pockets I read. So, I'm gonna count 1 magazine + 1 DD pockets as 1 book.   I'm pretty sure no one's interested in any of this, but I just had to post, as a little motivator to myself.

Kings Of Suburbia Super Deluxe Edition

Tokio Hotel
Kings Of Suburbia
Super Deluxe [Limited] Edition I want to share the story with you guys of what a pain in the *** it was to get myself this beautiful edition!  It was September 2014 and I was stressing out because it was really hard to get one of those limited copies of beautiful boxes! And as a die-hard Tokio Hotel, and them being my #1 and all, I just simply had to have it! The first meltdown I had was when they were only available through the German Amazon, which said they wouldn't ship outside of Germany. That was freak out nr.1..
Then later on they were SOLD OUT!!  that was meltdown #1..
Luckily the band notified us, not to worry too much and that they would be in stock again, after a couple of days. (I should mention I'm talking about pre-orders, as it was still September, and the album was to be released October 3rd.) With some use of google I found out they were also selling them at the Amazon of UK & France. UK was being a total rip-off almost asking DOUBLE of the price, so that was a nnnnn. Then I looked over at the French one and it was the normal price, and they DID ship to whole Europe. Only problem was, they only accepted creditcards as payment methods. And of course I don't have one. So, with a lot of searching and blood, sweat and tears, I found out about a prepaid credit card. No problem, so I did that, bought a 'digital' prepaid cc, pre-ordered the box at the French Amazon at September 8th, and I was confinced, I would get my copy, and I could happily start to count down the days, waiting for its arrival.  But NOOO! Just a bit longer than 1 week left for its arrival, I got an e-mail of the French Amazon, saying that they misscalculated how many copies they would receive, and for that reason they had to cancel some of the most recent pre-orders.
My heart sank to my chest and I was nearly ripping my hair out!!
As some die hard stans may understand I was searching far and wide now, to still be able to get a copy....
FINALLY, like a week before it's arrival, one of my favorite webshops of Holland (where I actually always buy CD's Books etc) put this edition up for pre-order.. but I remembered from a couple years ago, they also had another deluxe thing from Tokio Hotel, and I remembered it being cancelled, but I ordered it anyway, but went on with my search, just to be sure...
I found another webshop located in Holland, who's well known for selling alternative artists, not Hot 100 artists etc. And they said also to receive this copy, BUT!! There was a catch, they told me only to order the thing, AFTER I ordered it.. I did it anyway, had nothing to lose. Still feeling uncertain about them actually being able to receive one of those editions (remembering the e-mail from French Amazon..) I still went on with my search.
And then, one day before it's release, it was October 2nd 2014, I found a webshop from France that showed the exact amount of how many copies they had etc. I remembered, I still had that prepaid credit card thing, that was already paid for. So, as a complete safety-net and also as some kind of last resort, I ordered one from them too. With an uncertain, uneasy feeling, I went to sleep that night, wondering what would happen the next morning. It was October 3rd 2014, I was already up, early, not able to sleep anymore. Early in the morning, checking my e-mail..... it had e-mails from all those places, telling me they all had BEEN SHIPPED!
I was home alone and I felt like doing a victory dance through the living room!   At 10 o'clock the doorbell rang "I have a package for you, m'am."
The doorbell rang three times that morning, giving me three boxes to open.
So that's where the pictures come from shown above, and that explains why on the middle picture you can see three of the boxes.
All and all, I felt so blessed, because one of the boxes was damaged! The Vinyl sleeve was damaged, and inside the book a couple of pages were ripped!
Would that have been the only copy I could've gotten my hands on....
So, 1 got send back, a in-perfect-condition 1 I kept myself, and another one that was also mint condition, I sold to another fan, who also was unable to get one herself. And that's the story of how I got one of the most precious Stan Merchandise I own.
The Box Contains: Kings Of Suburbia Album (Deluxe Edition 15 tr.)
Demo track tape (Devilish previous band name when they JUST started making music)
VINYLS (filled with all the Deluxe version tracks)
A Book with beautiful pictures of KOS Photoshoot And here's a video of my babe opening one of those boxes.  not one of mine, sadly.     (song playing: Love Who Loves You Back)

Seeker.

Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton first book read by me in 2016 **** Great! Would definitely re-read it.  This book was not what I expected it to be. It surprised me on many levels. It never bored me for even 1 second, a true pageturner! The characters are very vivid and they surprised me plenty of times. The storyline itself also went from character to character, but at the end, they all fell into one place. Some people are not what they seem, and about some characters I'm still not sure whether I can trust them or not.  The story takes us back to the Middle Ages, and we mostly follow the three Main charaters; Quin, Shinobu and John. They've all been training for years, to take an oath, and become a Seeker. This always seemed like an honor, but on the first night, when they get their first assignment and travel to 'There', nothing seems to be less true. The truth gets revealed and shows that their honor has become nothing but disgrace and leaves both Quin and Shinobu with nothing but distaste. While Quin is going through a struggle, realising her whole life has been a lie, John chooses another path to seek for his own justice, for himself and his family. All of them have to make hard choices and decide between what is right and wrong. But when their worlds have been flipped upside down, it makes it harder to see, which path will lead to victory and justice, and which will lead to doom and destruction.  It really is an amazing and exciting journey, and I'm eager to read the sequel once it's released.
