Britney Spears // Glory
Like many of us, Britney was more or less my first foray into pop music, but probably not in the way you'd expect. Up until high school, I'd listened to mostly alternative / rock / basic straight white boy music. I didn't touch pop (or rap) at all, but my bus ride to school was almost an hour each way, and the driver always had pop radio on. So, I started getting closely acquainted with it. ARIANA GRANDE // MOONLIGHT DANGEROUS WOMAN
Ariana Grande was one of those artists who was kind of hit or miss for me for most of her career. I don't know why I felt like doing this, boredom mostly I suppose, but as someone who typically doesn't curr for Beyonce, I thought it might be interesting to do a first listen review of Lemonade. Critics seem to be creaming themselves over it, so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Rating each track from 1 - 5. Let's go.
1. PRAY YOU CATCH ME - 2/5
Intro's kinda weird, but seems like a standard ballad after that point with some urban influe
