idk how to feel about this

i wrote this over a few days. i feel like they belong as a single song but i wrote them as two separate songs.   the first half is the most recent addition i made, its the part i wrote as a different song than the original last half.   tell me what you think.

new song: untitled or "For You" idk

i dont have a verse I yet and idk if i wanna repeat the chorus 2 at the end a second time [chorus 1]
You can't fix whats broken
So stop trying
Stop trying to fix me
You're such a fool
For thinking i can be fixed
I ain't broken
I'm still in one piece
But i can't say the same for you [verse 2]
Stop kidding yourself
I know you wanna let it out
But it just can't be done
What's broken will forever heal [chorus 1]
You can't fix whats broken
So stop trying
Stop trying to fix me
You're such a fool
For thinking i can be fixed
I ain't broken
I'm still in one piece
But i can't say the same for you [bridge]
I can't tell you how many times
Someone's tried to fix me
I've lost count
You aren't the first to try
But you won't be the last [chorus 2]
You can't fix whats broken
So stop trying
Stop trying to fix me
Why ya gotta be such a fool?
For thinking i can be fixed
I'm not broken
I didn't fall to pieces
But i can't say the same for you, my dear

My top 5 fav albums.

i wanted to share my favourite albums because i wanted to show im not just the metal head of the pop forum. i suggest at least listening to the highlights/MOFs to get a feel of each album/my taste in music.   ONE artist: In This Moment album: Black Widow genre: alternative metal/electronic metal highlights: Natural Born Sinner, Sick Like Me, Big Bad Wolf my other favs: Dirty Pretty, Sex Metal Barbie, Bloody Creature Poster Girl   This is my all time favourite album. I started listening to it a few days ago tbh but i havent stopped listening to it since my friend had me listen to Sex Metal Barbie in school. The album is very metal (as it contains some screaming), but it does have some electronic elements in it. I feel as though the album has a concept because Black Widow spiders are very venomous and the lyrical content is similar to being that kind of mindset i guess you would say. My favourite track is definitely Natural Born Sinner because the lines "So go ahead and point your finger/I love who I want, whether him or her/When will you see that God made me a/S-I-N-N-E-R/Natural Born Sinner" describe my feelings toward how people discriminate against people who are in the LGBT community and how they (mostly conservatives) point fingers at how "homos are sinners and are bad role models to the youth of wherever", etc. The vocalist, Maria Brink, DELIVERS vocals on tracks like The Fighter and Sick Like Me. She can belt vocals like Gaga and X had a baby.     TWO artist: Troye Sivan album: Blue Neighbourhood genre: alternative pop highlights: FOOLS, WILD, TALK ME DOWN, SUBURBIA my other favs: TOO GOOD, DKLA, THE QUIET   This album, omg. When it first came out (Dec. 4/5, 2015), i played this NON STOP. Eventually every track had over 200 plays each because i played it so much.   But that was also when i had an iPod icould play it on when i dont have access to a computer. This release is definitely worth listening to in full. My favourite track ould probably be TOO GOOD or FOOLS because his vocals give me the feels. Lyrics mostly deal with love and he does it in a (lbr) iconic way. I remember seeing a gif on Troye on an interview (i think it was a radio show iirc) and he was explaining the WILD video and how he wanted to show how gay relationships arent always just about the physical aspects.   THREE artist: Kesha album: Animal and Cannibal genre: dance/pop highlights: Your Love Is My Drug, TiK ToK, We R Who We R, Blow, Animal my other favs: The Harold Song, Hungover, Take It Off, Blind   I'm kind of cheating by putting this release in this list because its basically 2 different pieces of work i one but It is basically one of the first artists i started listening to regularly (that wasnt a disney princess song i was a messy child lmao ) This chick can serve vocals but that is overpowered by an immense amount of autotune, but we all know how shitty her music producer is . I remember being in elementary school and my brother was in high school at the time. Kesha had put out TiK ToK and everybody started listening to her. So naturally, my brother tried ( ) to fit in and did too. I remember having him play the album for me when i needed to go to bed. I (and my little sister ) took it to school (elementary ) and had the bus driver play it in the afternoon on the way home. every day. This release is nearly flawfree. The only flaw is that Boots And Boys couldve been replaced by a NUMBER of unreleased tracks but here we are Boots And Boys (while not being 100% awful) is in fact the release's worst track. it does bop tho.   FOUR artist: Marilyn Manson album: Holy Wood (In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death) genre: industrial metal highlights: Disposable Teens, The Fight Song, The Nobodies my other favs: Target Audience, The Love Song, Lamb Of God   It's no secret i love Marilyn Manson. A friend of mine had been wanting me to listen to him since 7th grade, but i didnt start til sometime last (school) year just out of shits and giggles. This release is part 1 of a 3 part triptych, despite being released after the other two parts. The concept of this record has to do with the fact that (again) conservatives like to point fingers at bad role models and that artists are defined by the lyrics they write/sing but they dont ask the artist what the reason they wrote it. In this case, this album talks about America's obsession with guns, god and government, celebritarianism,  and it's "where if you die and enough people are watching, then you're famous." Read more on the over-arching concept of the album and the entire triptych here. Marilyn Manson has said that people like to televise everything and that can get people to fear things like drugs and death among other things and he plays with people's fear and the reactions ive seen on this forum over him are the kind of reactions he wants to get from you. My favourite track is The Fight Song because the lyrics "i'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist/I'm not a slave to a world that doesn't give a shit" is literally me. My favourite lyrics out of the album are "If you die when there's no one watching/and your ratings drop and you're forgotten/if they kill you on their TV/you're a martyr and a lamb of god" because its literally true. Think about it, have you ever thought that had nobody ever posted someone's death (whether it being a celeb or just an ordinary person) on social media or on the news, would you have known they died (or even existed)? no.   FIVE artist: Britney Spears album: Glory genre: pop highlights: Man On The Moon, Liar, Clumsy (lbr), Slumber Party my other favs: What You Need (largely underrated), Private Show   One of my favourites, if not my #1 favourite, album released in 2016. Every track is amazing but a few are weaker than others (Better, If I'm Dancing, No Seas Cortez, along with a few others). This is very underrated in compared to other albums released in 2016 (although that depends on what stan youre talking to) each track bops to some point ngl. My favourite track is MOTM because the lyrics give me feels and WYN because it bops HARD even though the ending couldve (or should i say shouldve) ended more loud/everything playing at once to an abrupt ending. A great closing to a great album. (the deluxe tracks shouldve been interspersed into the standard like Halsey's BADLANDS but thats just me)

I'm just living out the American dream
And I just realized that nothing Is what it seems" -BOP   2. Hollywood - 10/10 (tbh) -Cute bird chirps   -favourite lyrics: "Everybody comes to Hollywood

my favourite bands/groups

its no secret im Obsessed by Mariah Carey on iTunes now with alternative/rock/metal, etc genres so lemme rank them     not in any real order     Evanescence     Panic! At The Disco     Selena Gomez & The Scene       Paramore     Pierce The Veil (mostly this one album)       Flyleaf (none of the new stuff tho  2005-2012 is the best) the earlier videos were taken down from the official channel for some reason       Marina And The Diamonds              honorable mentions:   Get Scared (only one release tho - these videos are for that release, its a 6 track ep)     Fall Out Boy       my ABSOLUTE faves:       My Chemical Romance     Marilyn Manson im not linking to the official videos of certain songs because some of you may close out of it for the imagery         yes there are a lot of videos but i tried getting a good amount to sample each album.

Twisted Rave

https://twistedwave.com/online/   this site is amazing for editing audio files online without downloading anything (except the audio file  )   i used it to edit the "duet version" of Telephone by Lady Gaga and Britney Spears i got from @trashmagic in the Circus: Sessions thing because there was a minute of silence at the end so i took that out.
