So basically I started having pain earlier this week and the doctors kept telling me it was either a pulled muscle or an inflamed nerve. The pain kept getting worse, until yesterday when I started feeling better. Then all of a sudden last night at around 10:30 something happened (don't wanna go into detail) and my parents rushed me to the ER, and it turned out it was actually a cyst causing my pain and that it had abscessed. They had to make an incision right there and drain it, and they had to fill it so tomorrow I have to go back so they can change the filling. They told me there's s chance it could come back, and that if it does they're gonna recommend surgery. Everyone has assured me that things will be fine because it might not come back and that if it does it'll be easy to fix, but the whole thing still has me scared.

 

Just wanted to post about this somewhere.

I just hate having to wait to find stuff out. I'm mad cause if the first doctor I saw the other day would've actually took their time with me this wouldn't be happening now orangu1

Anything that has to do with needles, blood, or surgery, terrifies me so I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm sure it'll all be okay though hug1

I'm super scared at any weird pain on my body so I can't imagine how you feel right now. cry9 

I have such an issue with doctors when stuff like that happens too, like they just see the most simple diagnosis to get through patients quickly instead of actually checking shit out. orangu1

stay calm bae, it's better to have that surgery and heal that having moments with pain, just think about how good u will feel after that lil moment <3

I actually get that feeling, not that I have a cyst or anything but specifically the line "things will be fine". I'm sure as hell it won't be, people and doctors mostly just say these things so that we could feel good about ourselves, a distraction, for me this will make me worry even more, I get anxiety because of this.
