  2. You really devalue Blackout the way you keep comparing other (not even remotely similar) albums to it

  3. I actually can't believe we are touching finishing line here. Whew, I am glad I had a chance to interact with every member that posted and voted here - yeah, even once or two times like dears @Deluxe and @Freaky Prince. Anyhow, I won't be singling out any members, because you all have contributed to this little competition. But I would like to greet our grand final guest judges - @Tonic, @ParentalAdvisory, @Madonna and @Luca. And I am not going to make this an uni essay, so let's have a run-down of the results. Results: And the final day’s results are

  5. lies! is this thread an attempt to discredit Janet? 1. no, Janet was successful bc of herself and bc she is hard working, talented etc. Also she is herself a true talented, influential icon and legend. i could go on.. 2. these 2 songs are true classics and Janet was on FIRE from Control to Damita Jo and she served quality! Discipline was also good. 3. it wasn't even her fault, JT did this not her, and JT used her to get where he is. He did the same to Britney as well. also watch this stay fuming!

  9. She can't tour and the Positions era seems to be over anyway. The paycheck was probably HUGE and she will bring in some ratings. It's a win-win situation. I don't think she's staying for more than a season.

  10. Do we think she'll actually release a PT2 of Artpop?.... Discuss below.

  11. She's been annoying for 7+ years... You can be opinionated without being annoying, example, Adele is pretty opinionated but it's funny.

  12. Reflection (2020) - 7,9 And with this, we have reached the end of the line. Here's the ultimate winner and loser: Highest score: Candyman (9,4) Lowest score: Just A Fool (2,9) Thanks so much for everyone who's participated! I might do a "rate the album covers" later if there's interest (and a need for more posts so we don't get axed), but I'll most likely do that in a separate thread. Thanks again for voting and contributing to keeping the Xtina section around for 3 consecutive months.

  16. Welcome to Color Palette! Inspired (and totally not stolen) by FOTP's Next Top Model (which has been on hold for quite some time, mind you @Dani K. ) and also a game that I found while lurking on ATRL, every week, contestants will submit a photo or GIF of their chosen celeb that matches the theme of the round. Themes can range from a color, material, brand, aesthetic, occasion, and any other unexpected concepts that may pop up at some point in the season. Since this is a test season (and also the first time I'm hosting an ACTUAL game for once), I'll allow around 5-10ish

  20. I saw it too, but the director needs to get a grip. Lil Nas was inspired by Twigs, but he made it his own thing. Everyone is inspired by everyone, nothing is 100% original nowadays. Other than pole scene, the video itself is not even close to resembling Cellophane.

  21. The Sweetener shade you ain't SLICK! Her only album to win a GRAMMY and the start of the Ariana reign in pop music. Sweetener had to walk so all her recent albums could run, no matter if Sweetener is worse than TUN or Positions (which btw it is not)!

  22. But you also have Like a Prayer Daydream The Bodyguard Soundtrack Falling into you We need to stop comparing Adele's discography to people like Adrian and Rihanna, she is BEYOND that. The numbers she pulls would rival these albums from the peak sales era and that's the kind of shoulders she's rubbing with

  25. I can't be the only person that think positions feels so average. Not the music, it's just fine in my eyes (it could've been a lot worse). I'm referring to how Ariana is handling the era. She released the album a week after the single then completely abandoned it in favor of the average at best 34+35, giving the song a boring video and unnecessary remix. She then proceeded to leave the era on auto pilot for a couple months then "released" pov as a single (she really just sent it to radio) months after the hype around the song died out. Given that we're still in a pandemic, I didn't expect some

  26. No. Even when it's partially her fault, even if she was planning it with Timberlake, she should never be 'grateful' for the thing(s) that he had done to her. Imagine if you got sexually violated in the streets just because you said "hi" back to somebody who tried to flirt with you, then a couple years later somebody else in your town posted on their social media that you should have been grateful for getting violated because that keeps you relevant as the person who got violated in anybody's minds within your city.

  27. Their marriage was well known for how much they loved one another. It was hardly political, no one in the government wanted her to marry him, they despised him. They tried to get her with many other men but she loved him. I have no idea where you got that idea, their love story is one of the most famous of the 20th century.

  28. Honestly...so what? Certainly Philip as a man is not someone to really celebrate, but their marriage was impressive and surprisingly loving for the position that they were in. I don't think she's in any way idolizing the person, but the love and I don't think acknowledgement of the love and a marriage that long is a particularly bad thing. It was a real life fairy tale sort of marriage and I can't say I blame her for being appreciative of it, even if Philip was the way he was.

  29. Katys album was utter shit. The official lead single and title track is arguably one of her worst songs EVER. People have grown tired of her CLOWNERY and instead of finally establishing a more serious image, she did the exact opposite. With Katy it's an image/marketing problem. The album came out after any hype had already died down.

  36. I can see where this stems from to a point where Dua's concerned, but I will also defend her with something I've long said: choreography should not be the says all that ends all when it comes to a performance because it is essentially icing. What really makes a performance is an artist that goes out there and does what they do with confidence, presence, and investment. If they're throwing in dancing to that mix, then fine, that's great. But the magic comes from delivery and execution. That rings true even if there is minimal or no choreography present. An artist that comes on stage and throws

  38. We're done! Here are the scores. As you may or may not know this, this is the first and ONLY round of the season. If this was an actual season, @Mario would've been eliminated. But since this is the unaired pilot, here are the final results. Which brings us to the conclusion that the "winner" of the test season/episode is... @Snow. See you in May! @Snow - 43 @V For Vendetta - 41 @SeekingThrill - 38 @Max - 36 @Lynk - 30 @Ghostface - 29 @august - 28 @LeaHeartBroken - 27 @Mario - 22
