I saw her in concert the last two nights and was a foot away from her at one point. I was holding my hand out for a high five, and then I pulled it back because she turned her head and I didn't think that she had seen it, but then she turned back around and high five'd the air where my damn hand was literally 2 seconds prior. here's a little collage of photos that I took:
  4. anyone who is under the impression that Mariah is more commercially-successful than Madonna hasn't done their research. why only count Vevo, when YouTube's Music Insights section (https://www.youtube.com/yt/artists/insights.html) tells us exactly how many times all uploads of their videos have been viewed since September 2014? Céline: 877,149,553 Mariah: 685,470,947 it would appear that Céline isn't struggling anywhere close to as much as you thought.

I'm late, but eww, why is 'bue blue' so high? it is my least favourite on BLUE, lol. love these: 041. Coldplay - Always In My Head 026. Ariana Grande - Love Me Harder (feat. The Weeknd) 023. Hozier - Take Me To Church 015. Beyonce - 7/11 005. Coldplay - Magic

hopefully 'The Wheel' made your list then, haha. that 'Whole Damn Year' song is very pretty!

I'll for sure listen to it then if you recommend it. I was into her in my teens, but semi-lost interest in recent years. 'What's the 411?' is still one of the best R&B albums in history to this day, imo. have you listened to SOHN's album, Tremors? it seems like it would be right up your alley.

oh. I think 'thin' is my favourite song of the year. Mary as in Mary J. Blige? if so, I intended to, but I thought her AMA performance was atrocious and pretty much lost any interest of hearing the album at that point. I'll probably check it out on Spotify later today if it's worth a listen.

hey, I'm from Edmonton! loved the interview and I can't wait to hear what she came up with for Rihanna. I bought her EP physically from Amazon the other day.

buying tickets for Seattle. unless they add a Vancouver date, in which case I will sell the Seattle tickets and go to that one instead.

how can that be when it was 'only' certified 7x Platinum? 2 albums have been certified 24x Platinum in Australia.

the album has been certified 4x Platinum in Canada, 2x Platinum in France, and Gold in Belgium, Hungary, Poland, South Africa and the UK.

the album has sold 888,000 copies as per Media Traffic: week 1: 253,000 week 2: 166,000 week 3: 105,000 week 4: 115,000 week 5: 120,000 week 6: 129,000 her main markets and their approximate sales and chart trajectories so far (thanks to Wayne on UKmix): Canada: 202,000 (1-1-2-2-2-6) France: 128,000 (3-5-6-7-11-12) UK: 186,000 (3-4-8-8-8) USA: 178,000 (2-13-26-25-35-38) the strong showing in Canada & in several European territories is sort of making up for the album's horrendous performance in the States.

she absolutely nailed all of last night's performances: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiKchsEY7ko ^ she screws up a bit @ the end, lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3LVOH1eiew http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAD3CFnwimw

great list. :: Part II (On the Run) is my favourite song of this year. Red Wine is also in my top 5.
  19. exfactor003

yet over two million people paid outrageous amounts of money last year to see her do exactly that.
  20. exfactor003

a crime. :gasp: Started from the Bottom is a phenomenal song, imo. saw him perform it live last night.

Loved Me Back to Life and Radioactive >>>>> looking forward to seeing which Drake songs will be on here. can we expect to see any more Legendline tracks?
  22. this isn't a 'record' per se, though she does hold the record for highest first-week sales in Canadian chart history (230,000 in 1997, the equivalent of 2,070,000 in the States).

Loved Me Back to Life is currently top 5 in 50 territories on iTunes! it's gone to #1 in 20-something territories but probably won't in any more because of Eminem's album. currently #59 in the States and #205 in the U.K. (though it isn't released there until next week). I think my faves are Loved Me Back to Life, Didn't Know Love, Thank You, and Thankful.
  24. exfactor003

Christina, by quite a large margin, imo.
  25. exfactor003

as can the rest of the elite Vegas acts, with the exception of Shania, I'm sure.
