I appreciate that she combined a tried and true pop sound with some more experimental sounds, while getting more personal than ever before. The film and record as a whole is a beautiful celebration of black women (in a way that trash Azealia Banks could only wish to show). I'm so glad she released this.

I loved this show for a season and a half, but i'm just over Lucious being a complete dickhead and ruining his families lives, and they still scream and cry when he gets what he deserves, which is his company being taken from him. They're all like OMG WE NEED TO SAVE HIM and i'm like, you guys he literally treated you like shit and you made your own record company to get away from him. It just makes no sense. The "blood is thicker than water" thing only goes so far. He's just a piece of shit at this point.

I don't think Miley is credited enough for her work in feminism, not to mention homeless LGBT youth. People talk all the time about how reckless she is, and how she's a slut and this and that, but she's been a huge advocate for women's rights and women having complete control over their body, which in 2016 is still a huge issue.

I'm bingeing Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey, and then weekly I watch The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, The Real O'Neals, Fresh Off the Boat, Black-ish, Quantico, Grandfathered, Shades of Blue, and The Family. I usually watch Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder live but I fell behind on both of them this season so i'm waiting until Netflix to catch up on them. Also i'm waiting for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Grace and Frankie, and Orange is the New Black to drop on Netflix.
