I don't know her like I just literally have never heard of her, not even in a shady way. Do people really hate someone that isn't relevant?

Only thing I know for sure is that all of Adele's singles are gonna smash and ha album sales are gonna continue into the millions in the new year. Beyonce will do well, probably Gaga too, Britney can if she releases a good album this time, and Rihanna should do fine. I've accepted that Xtina won't do well sales wise so i'm hoping she delivers musically.

Omg at someone bringing up that ridiculousness Put Your Hearts up I LOOOOOOOVE Focus, it's such a bop. It's Problem Part 2 yeah but i'm cool with that since Problem is amazing. The video's cute, I don't expect much from her videos honestly. I like this video better then Problems video.

I actually think this season is miles better than Freak Show. Its slow moving but we're finally getting some answers by Episode 4 and i'm really invested in the characters. Also, I actually feel like this season has a clear direction it's moving in. With Freak Show, I didn't see that.

The problem is, Caitlyn couldn't do this on her own terms without being public about it. We need more vocal transgender figures, because before Caitlyn came out, the media was being incredibly disrespectful towards her, and misrepresenting her. To see change in the community, she needed to have an open transition and set the record straight with the truth. Since her coming out, the media has begun to be much more sensitive to these issues.

It does but its floppage was unprecedented, even by her standards. They literally erased the song from existence after it flopped.

Madonna - When she pulled the original American Life video. It was a complete disregard for all she had stood up for her entire career. Also the grill really makes me cringe. It looks stupid and she sounds stupid when she talks with it. Mariah - Her entire career from her marriage to Nick Cannon up until now. Christina - The Lotus era. Beyonce - Honestly, nothing as of now. Janet Jackson - Nothing from her personally, but I cringed at how the world reacted to Nipplegate. Any woman over 40 is basically told to go out to pasture by the music industry. That's a fact.

Everyone has at least one song that really gets to them, if not a few. I know for me personally, I can't explain why certain songs hit me, they just do. Chandelier and Elastic Heart by Sia really get to me (honestly most songs by Sia affect me somehow), as well as Lost in Paradise by Evanescence and Because of You by Kelly Clarkson. I'm sure there are more i'm forgetting rn.

I think there are a few that are really intelligent. Madonna obviously, but also Beyonce and Taylor because of how they've marketed and branded themselves, especially Beyonce who is as relevant and popular as ever after 15+ years in the business. Dumbest are Britney (she's let herself be controlled for her entire career) and Mariah (love her but she's been a MESS from her marriage to Nick Cannon all the way up until now).

I don't think its smart to make herself the hook girl and basically give up half her song to Kendrick. A remix with deeper synths and him getting a verse, sure. But to make her a glorified Ashanti on her own single is kinda desperate imo.

And I HATE myself for saying this, but I don't know what Taylor was thinking with this single. First of all, why did she give up all of her verses for KENDRICK LAMAR? Why did she delegate herself to being a HOOK GIRL on HER OWN SINGLE? It just sounds stupid and it sounds like she's trying to appeal to an urban audience that she has no need to appeal to. Give him one verse, don't take away all of yours. Second, the video itself is fierce and all, but it doesn't make much sense. It just kinda seems like fierce cameo after fierce cameo for the sake of it. It reminded me of a messy Toxic.
