People trying to discredit Janet's legacy is ridiculous yes she's out of the spotlight now, but from Control to All for You she OWNED the game. So many of her songs (Nasty, Rhythm Nation, Miss You Much, That's the Way Love Goes, If, Again [which was OSCAR NOMINATED], Together Again, All for You) are timeless classics and appear on many best of lists. Just because an 18 year old gay boy hasn't heard the song on the radio, doesn't mean it's not a classic. That logic is so fucking ridiculous.

Well yeah, Xtina completely slaughters them. I just mean that they're in the same performance category, that they're known for their vocals more than anything else. I'd put Katy/Kesha/Britney in the "performance" category since that's what they're more known for.

Trust me girl, you know how much I stan our good sis Godtina. However, I still stand by my statement that Bey is the better overall PERFORMER (vocals/dancing/showmanship/performance quality combined). In terms of performances, Godtina is known for just vocals anyway, so she's in a different category than Bey. I'd compare Xtina performances to vocal diva performances (like the holy trinity and the vocal girls of this generation like Ariana and Adele).

Yep i'm nearing the end of Season 3

No I changed my set yesterday Vampire Diaries is literally consuming my life, i'm binging it rn.

Probably Cher tbh. Madonna and Kylie both have good voices in their own right, but Cher has a fantastic voice. Very underrated.

It's just lazy. I don't hate it with a burning passion, but I definitely consider it one of her worst. She looks great in the video and that's about all I can give it.

That's her problem. Her career has been built on churning out hit single after hit single, without focus on the actual album. With some artists, even if the singles underperform, the album sales will still be fine because they have a dedicated fanbase who will buy albums. Rihanna's first #1 album didn't come until much later on, and that says something. Unless she has a really good single hidden in her back pocket, I don't see this era going well.

I think it's the best of the songs we've gotten so far. I like it. Hopefully the other songs are even better.

Has anyone read the Vampire Academy series? I just started the second book, Frostbite, and i'm addicted. Haven't seen the movie adaptation but I heard it's bad. There are rumors that the woman who adapted Vampire Diaries for TV wants to do the same for Vampire Academy.
