Yeah, it would have been nice if she released something from the vault. I've always been super interested to hear her version of Under Her Spell and Miss Independent. Well, maybe for the 25th anniversary.

Apart from the new music vid for Beautiful a bunch of new things are happening to celebrate the anniversary, so I thought I'd make a separate thread for it all. They're releasing a Digital Deluxe edition which is finally gonna include I Will Be, and a new remix of Beautiful. We're also getting 20th Anniversary Edition vinyls, which are already sold out, but are getting restocked soon. And $1 from each sale goes to support Trans Lifeline. RIAA has updated the certifications for Stripped and its singles. And all her Stripped era music vid

I wonder if the Beautiful remix will be the one in the new video.

Lmao, so this is really it "6 song increments" my ass I hope she never does an untraditional rollout like this ever again. She's way too indecisive for it and her team is a joke. It just doesn't work. I'll still hold some miniscule hope we'll eventually get an Aguilera deluxe version along with the physical release but I doubt it. Oh well, the music is at least amazing. I just wish it wasn't soured by the messy af rollout.

I don't get this reasoning. She still has a large audience. Just because it's not as big as at her commercial peak it means that she should just give up and stop creating art? I guess all indie artists should quit making music too since "no one is going to hear it"... Christina is no longer interested in "playing the game" to stay on top of the charts. Holy shit, this song is not at all what I expected sound-wise but I love it. I thought we were gonna get a straight up ballad but then it went off Honestly might be my favourite track form Aguilera And the lyrics are absolutely beautiful.

I highly doubt it. Etta really liked Xtina, I don't see why she would have been opposed to her doing a studio version. I think it's more due to the fact that she just never had a reason to do it, like a tribute album to put it on for example. And she's done a ton of classic jazz/soul covers over the years that she never recorded in the studio either.

All I know is she better open with Don't Stop the Music
