  1. That's actually really clever. Katy always has such good promotion so I expected nothing less
  2. I had to endure an hour of Ed Sheeran in art class awk1 Luckily I'm home now and have CTTR on repeat

  3. Everyone preferring perfect illusion low-key makes me scared to listen to CTTR it surely can't be that bad
  4. I think everyone is over analyzing it a biT Like the snippet was literally a phone recording from a speaker, anything that low quality is bound to be crap. Besides, I'd prefer her to release a basic, fun, party song than slap some "true artistry!" shtick on some track and call it "progress." It's a lead single so naturally it has to appeal to a large audience, and in case you haven't noticed, her party songs have been some of her most successful yet. People generally relate those to good times, that's why they have such longevity. It's all in the name of marketing, but I have faith in the
  5. I love this universal happiness that Katy is back.
  6. I can't wait for quality pop music to dominate for the first time since forever
  7. Halcyon is brilliant. Possibly one of my favourite albums ever! What's your fave song/s from it?
  8. That's so random but actually brilliant Can't wait to try some tbh
  9. Ok but how does anyone think that Born To Die is better than Ultragod
  10. The Dr.Luke case is making her irrelevant though. Sure yeah it gave her a lot of attention, but you can hardly say that this morbid case is keeping her last line of "relevancy." Like naturally popstars decline, she wouldn't be as relevant today as she was 5 years ago. However, she'd be more relevant today had she not been battling Dr.Luke.
  11. Radioactive was a hit? When did this happen
  12. The better question for me is, do my faves have any remembered hits?
  13. My mom claims to have been a big fan years ago but she only remembers that "Ra-Ra-Ro-Mama" song
  14. Queen of Soundtracks I wasn't so mad on the song first, but then I saw the light. I think her voice gives the song a certain charm it wouldn't have otherwise.
  15. Well after reading the extremely emotionally draining HP series, I moved onto something more lighthearted!
  16. I like the font, it's quite simple and clean! I also lowkey love the shoes! They do slightly look strange separately, but I feel that they will actually make an ordinary outfit quite quirky!
  17. I'm perched for this! I hope that it'll be a really solid piece of work seeing as it'll most likely have around 11 tracks
  18. Neither are ideal, they seem to both favour what's popular rather than what's of good quality. I don't think Grammys are nearly as important as they are believed to be. It's a nice achievement, but they're quickly forgotten about. Lets also not forget Grammys tend to favour what's popular, and its choices are often questionable! A #1 proves that at a stage, an artist's single was entertaining a large audience. Sure they may not always be masterpieces, but they're reflective of what sound people found popular at the time. I think that says more about the artist than an award do
  19. I've never liked her music, but so good is tragic! Lush Life would be such a good album title.. what was the sis thinking
  20. Firework is always brilliant in movies! I even loved it when it was used in a The Sims 3 trailer, it honestly goes well with any visual. I don't get the arguments here tho, like why is it so important to categorize it??? Like we're all FULLY aware that Firework isn't specifically made for a soundtrack. However, the facts that dozens of movies adopted it for their soundtrack proves that it has cinematic qualities, which the article is actually about.
