Neither are ideal, they seem to both favour what's popular rather than what's of good quality. I don't think Grammys are nearly as important as they are believed to be. It's a nice achievement, but they're quickly forgotten about. Lets also not forget Grammys tend to favour what's popular, and its choices are often questionable! A #1 proves that at a stage, an artist's single was entertaining a large audience. Sure they may not always be masterpieces, but they're reflective of what sound people found popular at the time. I think that says more about the artist than an award do

Firework is always brilliant in movies! I even loved it when it was used in a The Sims 3 trailer, it honestly goes well with any visual. I don't get the arguments here tho, like why is it so important to categorize it??? Like we're all FULLY aware that Firework isn't specifically made for a soundtrack. However, the facts that dozens of movies adopted it for their soundtrack proves that it has cinematic qualities, which the article is actually about.
