  1. Hmm, CTTR suddenly counts as "no hits"? Also, we're at the end of Q2 now (not that it matters). Honestly the sales of Joanne and Witness are comparable. Joanne had Q4 (higher sales) going for it, and apparently a discount on Amazon. Katy had her tour bundle, which has proved to move the needle for many artists in the past. Their sales are almost identical atm, with maybe Joanne having a slight edge.
  2. When is the actual release date? Tbh I was so excited for Lorde with Green Light and Liability but her buzz died down and Perfect Places and Sober have been so mediocre
  3. The thing is her prediction got downgraded. I made a thread in BG last Saturday titled "Katy Wins Once Again" because her SPS projection was 200-225k. It just got downgraded to 180-195k, which means its sales are slower then expected, or there was a large dropoff after the first day.
  4. What this post doesn't state is that this is a pretty big downgrade from their prediction just last Saturday. She was expected to do 200k -225k Which means her sales must be dropping quickly At this point I'm worried about her tour
  5. I went to her show in Pittsburgh, it was definitely one of the greatest moments of my life
  6. This tbh. If Taylor does address it I hope its just to say sorry/make up, and bury it. And then release that duet of course
  7. It's the 3rd largest music market worldwide and The UK market is the world’s biggest consumer of music relative to its population size and tops the global table in terms of album purchases per capita so yes, it is important to the industry and I'm sure to Katy.
  8. I don't know why Witness is being universally panned/getting mediocre reviews. It definitely has some cringey lyrics, and more filler tracks, but its still a solid album... I've been bopping to it since it came out. At this point Witness is much worse reviewed than Revival, Confident, Dua Lipa, Glory, Rebel Heart, Anti, 1989, 25, etc. So I'm not sure it's just that critics accept Taylor.
  9. This tbh, I forgot she bundled ticket sales. I wonder if her debut would be worse in the US without it
  10. She's only #5 in the U.K. It's behind Divide and a new Fleetwood Mac album Joanne snatched #3, I guess I was wrong about Katy winning You know its bad when Billboard uses language like "Witness (Virgin) can only manage fifth place" and "Witness is languishing in 5th place" Katy Perry's 'Witness' a Lowly No. 5 on U.K Midweek Chart, London Grammar's 'Truth' Out in Front Katy Perry’s new album Witness (Virgin) can only manage fifth place on the U.K.’s midweek chart asLondon Grammar’s latest effort takes a massive lead in the race to the title. London Grammar’s Trut
  11. Kind of matches her meteoritic scoring actually Only a legend could
  12. I havn't listened to The Moment I Knew and Come Back, Be Here in so long. They should have replaced Stay Stay Stay and The Last Time tbh
  13. SCREAMING I could watch her shade other artists all fucking day
  14. Oh god, Everything Has Changed is so cringe. Maybe Red isn't my favorite album of hers..
  15. TIME IS TAKING ITS SWEET TIME ERASING YOU AND YOU'VE GOT YOUR DEMONS AND DARLING THEY ALL LOOK LIKE ME
