  1. It's not a bad game in the sense that it still has the essence of a Sims game, but the game felt... uncomplete?

I bought it when it came out, and I got bored in no time because the base game was not enough to keep you hooked.

Unless you spent more $$ on expansion packs, it was not worth the price I paid for at the time. Also, the sims are ugly if it weren't for mods.

Other than that, not having an open world didn't bother me because it slows the game down. brit10

    Spoiler

The moment that has been said to come is finally here after a long time of promotion and anticipation, in fact, Tinashe is indeed back to the music scene with a new project entitled 'Haywire' which dropped earlier this week marking a new start for the singer after the fiasco that happened last year with her somophore album 'Kachingwe'. Moving on with her third studio album, Tinashe first announced the album when she unveiled her new single 'Roll The Dice' as the lead single of 'Haywire'. The song went to reach top 3 on the charts 2 months after its release becoming Tinashe's second top 3 hit single.

Despite Tinashe's hiatus last year, her comeback has been very anticipated as many fans wondered for so long the reason of the singer's disappearance. Needless to say that the hype around Tinashe began to grow back when she released 'Roll The Dice' and promoted it all over the world with countless appearances and performances. Tinashe hasn't stopped proving herself and 'Haywire' is a testament to that although the singer is aware that she still has a lot to accomplish to be even greater, nonetheless to say that her stamina and work ethic is unmatchable.

It's safe to say that Tinashe is becoming more and more etablished in the music industry seeing how she scored her second top 3 hit on the charts with 'Roll The Dice' and how 'Haywire' looks like it's shaping up to be Tinashe's biggest and most acclaimed record of her career.

Now that Tinashe is back on track with a new body of work, the pop star is currently on the road for another promotional campaign. In fact, Tinashe is currently in Europe to promote her new project with her most recent appearance being on Operación Triunfo. Check out what the singer revealed below.

On 'Lie To Me' with Ariana Grande

I recorded it with Kleinman and Diplo earlier this year. It was the first song that we did when we started working on 'Haywire'. It just came out very easily. It felt really natural, and so I knew that it was a keeper. But the song didn't feel quite completed, so that's when we thought about making it a duet and Ariana immediately crossed my mind for this song.  She fell right into place in this track and we knew it was going to be bigger than just an album track.

On having a hand in the creative process

Yeah. I think it’s important to have a hand in every single aspect of your career, from the creation of the music, to the art, to the music videos, to the production of the music, everything. It’s just my vision has really come through with this project, and I’m excited for people to see. It feels more genuine to me to put something that I envisioned, imagined and created rather than feeling like things are being handed to me. I really hate that, especially knowing that I love being in control so I can't bare not having a hand in anything.

Tinashe then performed 'Roll The Dice' and 'Lie To Me' with Ariana Grande on the show.

On 'Haywire' being her most vulnerable project

I do feel like this album is my most vulnerable album to date. I initially started working on it earlier this year after I got back from my hiatus and decided that it was my moment to really bounce back and face what was waiting for me. At that point, I started to delve into the recording process again and I felt this was my opportunity. It truly felt like it's now or never. Being able to put yourself in a vulnerable place emotionally is actually strength, and that's what I learned this year which is that there's always an undrlined message behind vulnerability and the message is that you always bounce back stronger.

On putting these songs out the world

No matter how many albums I've released, it's always a strange feeling to put out an album for the world to judge and tear apart. It's like putting your heart out there because all of these tracks come from a place of vulnerability and from real experiences, and people sometimes are very reckless about it. They'll tear it down if they don't like it as if it doesn't hold any meaning or value. That crosses my mind sometimes, and I think to myself "You have to be fearless. This is what you do!". That helps me to put my brain in a positive state of mind any new releases.

    On wanting success with 'Haywire'

I care, of course, because everyone wants to be successful, but that was not my initial goal with creating this album 'Haywire'. My goal first and foremost was to get back to my roots and do everything the right way in order to properly re-introduce myself to the public and to allow people the chance to discover me for who I really am, or to discover me again.

On bouncing back from last year

I was never expecting my career to take this path last year to be honest. None of this happened the way I would've expected this to happen, but it feels right. I wouldn't think I'd be right here promoting a brand new album after like a few months after my somophore album. I feel like the universe has me on the right path. I'm in tune now. All the things are falling into place, and it all started with the surprise release of 'Roll The Dice' earlier this year which completely skyrocketed on the charts.

On showing vulnerability through her music

I think for a long time I didn't want people to see a vulnerable side to me because I thought they would think I was weak. I realized this is how we process emotions as people, and I managed to find comfort in expressing certain emotions in my music. It's still feels kind of weird to put some words on paper, but the most challenging part of it all I think is to actually perform and sing these songs live in front of a crowd. I don't feel as uncomfortable as I did before, It's something I've learned to do and get used to with time and that's how genuine music comes out which is when it comes from the heart.

On her favorites songs on 'Haywire'

The album is quite short, but I do have some favourite songs that happen to be also fan-favorites. One of them is the lead single 'Roll The Dice' that everyone has heard by now, you know it's just about moving on and getting back on your feet after a beak-up, I think it was a great way of opening the era. Then, I also love 'Speed It Up' which surprisingly was one of my least favorites because I really didn't pay much attention to this track at first but it grew on me with time. This one is about making your destiny what you want it to be and not waiting for it to happen. And lastly, my third favorite is 'Lie To Me' with Ariana which is an absolute banger.

On evolving as an artist with the new album

Musically speaking, I can feel the growth. For this album, I wanted to keep a similar essence to what I’ve always done but I also done and worked on it differently. I want to show people that I’ve expanded my sound as an artist with this project. Perhaps, traveling around the world and discovering new and different cultures have inspired me as a person and also artist at the same time.

    On her fanbase growing

I've seen new people following me on social media. There are definitely new fans and the fanbase will just keep on growing now with this third album out, I think there's still a lot of people who aren't familiar with me or my music and that perhaps will be now. I honestly feel like I'm always chasing new fans and not necessarily success because I know that fans are faithful to you and they just ride with you until the end. Success is not granted however.

On growing from her past projects

I think 'Haywire' has an essence of what my old fans know from me. That’s always important to me. But at the same time, there’s a lot of growth so that's why it's really exciting as well. I see it as an evolution, you know, there is some Tinashe R&B, a pop sound, some pop-rock elements too, and even middle eastern influences in there too. There's something for everybody, but I don't think It lost its cohesive sound throughout it all. Lyrically, I can say it with confidence that this album definitely shows growth. I've never been more satisfied in that department, than I am now with this album.

On wanting to tour with 'Haywire'

Yeah. I'm really interested in working on being able to bring live experiences to basically fans and people who maybe don't live in major markets or can't easily access concerts. The performance element for me is such a huge part of who I am as an artist. I just want to be able to get that across to even more people and I hope that with this album, that'll be possible. It'd be my first  time headlining a world tour so, it'd be very exciting and at the same time I've been performing non-stop for the past 2 years so it doesn't scare me at all to go on the road for a tour on my own.

    On creating 'Haywire'

It took a lot of time to get things going last year to be done with a body of work that satisfied me. When I was writing 'Kachingwe', I was still trying to find my voice but I was definitely determined to work even harder. Whereas with this album, the process was totally different because I already knew what I was going for and who I wanted to work with, I wasn't testing the waters like I did for my previous projects. I had a clear idea of what I envisioned, and that's pretty much how things got started and how it came about.

    On working with Mariah Carey

First of all, isn't it crazy that I got to work with her? It's just insane. I didn't think I'd have a legend like her to collaborate with me on my third album. It was definitely one of the highlights of my career. I had this ballad 'See Us Together' for quite a long time, the song was one of the first tracks that I wrote for 'Haywire' actually and then it didn't feel right to sing it solo. It had such a crazy dynamic, I wanted it to be a duet and who else but Mariah Carey to bring a ballad to life? So I called my label and asked if it was something plausible and both teams got in touch and here we are. I didn't think it'd happen.

    On new album 'Haywire'

About this project 'Haywire', I really want this album to represent a shift in where I was going as an artist after all of what happened. I feel like this is me really coming into my own, and I want to see it to continue to move in this direction and the momentum of the love that I’m receiving from my fans. I'm feeling so inspired, and I just want all these good things to continue. It feels like a brand new start for me with many opportunities ahead of me, really excited about what this album is going to do to my career.

On 'Lie To Me' with Ariana Grande

This song has definitely made a lot of noise in just a few days, and it's so pleasing to hear all this positive feedback. It certainly reassures me in my decision about picking it as the second single, it feels even more like the right decision. It definitely one track that stood out, but I didn't think of releasing it as a single until Ariana Grande hopped on the track and that was just brilliant. The song gained so much dynamic with her voice on it, she really made it better.

    On dealing with criticism

I try to focus my energy on people who are saying nice things. If you fuck with me, then that's great but if you don't, god bless! I think I've gained some kind of respect over the past year, even from people who were not fans of my music initially. Solely because they acknowledge how hard I work, and how I didn't give up and bounced back during the most complicated moments of my career. I don't really respond to criticism on social media because that's generally where the hate comes from, people are never so forward and bold outside of the Internet.

Tinashe has become one of the biggest forces in the music industry for the past two years and one of the youngest faces of music. The R&B songstress returned to the music scene with a powerful trap-influenced hit earlier this year when she announced to social media by surprise her comeback single entitled 'Roll The Dice'. The track was directly linked to an album that the singer later announced to be called 'Haywire' which was released this week.

In fact, 'Roll The Dice' is the lead single from Tinashe’s third studio album 'Haywire', which has managed to become an instant top 3 hit in the span of a few weeks since its release becoming Tinashe's second 3x platinum hit single and fastest selling single ever. Tinashe described the song as an unforgettable break-up track: "It tells a story about moving on from a past relationship by taking a chance on someone else. If your past boyfriends didn't act right then roll the dice until you find the good one, that's the lesson you can take from this track. It's truly about being able to move on and keep hope that you can only find better from now on."

The singer provided this week a ferocious set of visuals to match her top 3 hit in a new vertical video following the release of 'Haywire' . Oozing sass and staring into the camera, Tinashe can be seen strutting through a smoky, dimly-lit scenes while nailing some epic dance routines.

With a similar concept of the 'Roll The Dice' music video for the remix with Katy Perry, we see several guys coming in and coming out as Tinashe judges which guy makes the cut or not. The whole concept is about which one has what it takes to take her heart. Throughout the video, there are two female dancers dancing behind Tinashe with a clock ticking at the start of every chorus of the song.

The clock keep on ticking, and still none of the male contenders make the cut. During the final chorus of the song, Tinashe dances sexually with her female dancers as the video ends there.

The video is available on Encore following the discount of 'Roll The Dice' on iTunes.

On 'Roll The Dice' being one of her favorites on 'Haywire'

Re-visiting the album, I'm definitely glad I picked 'Roll The Dice' as the lead single. It's clearly one of the highlights on the album and it was one of the best choices to kick off the era. It's definitely up there next to my favorites tracks, if I had to rank it then I'd say Roll The Dice, Lie To Me, & Felony are my favorites. 'Felony' is lowkey underrated, it's not as talked about as the other tracks. I guess it's not much of a fan favorite.

    On her parents' support

Well, as long as I can remember I wanted to be a singer, I've been singing for my whole life and my parents always encouraged it. They actually loved to sing themselves, especially my father who was my biggest music coach as he loved music with passion and therefore I'd discover and listen to old school classics and expand my music knowledge even at an early age because of him, I recall being familiar with all kinds of music more than the average kid and my father would take me to auditions all over the country to get my name out there.
