    3. she's trying way too hard to stay relevant in the public eye to the point of not being herself.

    4. Her "barack obama" comment. the topic of katy perry being a culture appropriator/culture vulture is nothing new, but her insensitive comment opened a can of worms, the black community was clearly offended by her comment, it didn't come off quite well, people are getting creative when it comes to dragging her.

    5. Most people have a problem with her new hair-style, they keep calling her "a certain derogatory word for lesbian women" because of it, and to make it worse, they don't seem to recognize her with her new look.

    6. the whole migos situation proved how confused she is when it comes to branding, we all know katy is publically supportive of the LGBT community, and she was awarded an award for her contributions i believe, but look at her/her label ignoring all of that and forcing her to collab with migos, who are known or their problematic history when it comes to accepting homosexuality in Hip-hop, this split her fanbase into two sides, it was divisive to say the least, also she seems way out of it when it comes to migos, i mean she thought "offset", one of the migos members, was called "oh shit", i mean... rip4 her collab with them was not genuine at all, it was damaging to her credibility, and they unfollowed each other i heard, she tried to compensate for it and brought drag queens on stage with her while performing SS on SNL but i think the damage was already done.... the LGBT still feels some type of way about it all..  ny14 

    7. some bored teens with too much time found old tweets of some producer telling a story on how she called him "nigga" repeatedly in paris and kept on doing so even after telling her to stop.. this story and the one i pointed in (4) really put her in a bad light... the black community is pissed at her... they are not supporting her collab with nicki and that's why it is not doing so well on charts... even though it is a good song..

    8. some of her performances were not what's up to say the least, and people really made fun of her "white-girl" dance moves... 

    9. Her "bubblegum activism". How can you be "woke" while having a history of being culturally-ignorant/insensitive? how can you be "woke" while supporting a lying person like hillary. "this is no my personal opinion, but this is what i sadly hear everyone saying when it comes to her activism btw". she removed "activist" from her twitter bio.

    10. Even though she was obviously the one who was right during the whole "bad blood" situation, people seem to hate the fact she is re-opening this topic 3 years later to promote her album, while she could have instead addressed it when BB was out, they support her side of the story, but they don't seem to care to support "swish swish".. 

    11. Some media outlets are not giving her a break, and they tearing her everything apart. here comes the taylor swift part i believe. wendy2 

    12. often times, the GP do not know where she stands in when it comes to certain topics, i mean she says she's here for women, women should stick together and so on, but she made a song basically trashing another woman (it was right for her to do so IMO, but it made her look like hypocrite), taylor swift was sneaky enough that BB was not bashing another woman, the lyrics were too general.... , taylor knew how to fit it in her "feminist" narrative, which is essential for the swift image as we all know, while in SS, katy was quite specific.... she went all the way in, not a smart move, it did not fit her "feminist" image....... another one, she said that the world should have "no borders" on some radio show while terrorist attacks keep rocking many cities around the world as we speak, which makes the whole "no borders" argument quite invalid and insensitive to some. another problematic moment for ms perry.

    13. She's no longer successful as she used to be as apparent by how her singles perform on charts, which makes her vulnerable enough to get dragged and be labelled a "flop".

    all of this katy hate started when she released Bon Appetit, if she never went to go selling pies none of this would of never happened dead4

     

    and as an african american , i wasn't offened by the obama comment so people just wanted a reason to drag her tbh gaycat1
