      I compromised with my parents and will be going to the Philly show, so I'll only have to leave vacation a day early instead of leaving halfway through for NYC or missing vacation completely and having them all be mad at me. I'll be driving from Cape Code back to Albany, and then taking the train from Albany to Philly. I'll also be in charge of opening and cleaning the family pool all summer but I'm not even mad about it. Also, my BFF is still on board. I kept my cool and didn't get emotional or give them attitude and I'm honestly so proud of myself. cry9

    Literally having a meltdown because my irl best friend surprised me with Carly tickets for the two of us in NYC out of the goodness of her heart and I can't make it because I'll be on vacation with my abusive ass family. I've still never seen her live after all these years and this would have been the perfect occasion. Someone please cheer me up because I'm fucking inconsolable right now. They get in the way of EVERYTHING good in my life.

      I texted my mom and she didn’t give me yes or no yet but we’re going to talk about it tonight. My friend said we could do the Philly show if it’s easier, since that’s the last day of the vacation and not right in the middle of it like the NYC one. If I take my own transportation on the trip and leave a day early, they’re more likely to say yes than if I just didn’t go. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
