I found the low-quality full demo of Now That I Found You on YouTube, and all I have to say is Miss Carly is DELIVERING with her next song. The people who were disappointed by Party For One are going to run right back. It has some of her best vocals ever.

This isn’t about anyone on here, but as a writer I hate when I send my stories/songs/poetry to people and they either shit on it or don’t even acknowledge it. Like, I just found the courage to open up my soul to you, presumably because I respected you, and you’re not even understanding how big a compliment that invitation is in itself. How dare you. It honestly hurts my feelings so bad guys. Delete, erase, block, unfollow, whatever. ✋🏻

I hope this doesn't come off as narcissistic or anything, but I went to an art University for many years – studied film and writing – and all of our classes were revolved around critiques and discussion, so I think I'm pretty well-versed in giving constructive criticism. So, if you'd like, you could send something my way and I can try to give my feedback on it? I know how nerve-wracking it can be to share your art with someone, so I wouldn't want you to be discouraged!

I can't believed I ever used to want kids.
The older I get, the more the idea sounds like my actual worst nightmare. I'd rather have a bustling career, be one half of a child-free power couple, afford luxuries and go on nice vacations, preserve my body and mind from being withered away by stress, stay hip well past my 20s, have a fresh start once in awhile, and overall be able to do whatever I want whenever I want.

A few days ago I randomly just realized that I've never read The Catcher in the Rye before, so I've been working on that. I'm about to finish it, and... Honestly I don't get the hype. It's a fun quick read, but I don't really understand why it's so culturally significant. Maybe I'm too old for it and should have read it when I was an angsty teenager? I don't know. Please don't rake me over the coals for this, I know how beloved it is in certain circles.

The last few days I've switched to black/green tea with nothing in it after having morning coffee with cream and sugar for months, and omg my skin is so clear... I miss coffee so much (I'm addicted) but I've wanted good skin for such a long time
