I have a lot of friends, but I rarely ever go to parties because of anxiety and social awkwardness. However, I will be facing my fears and letting my hair down tonight for the first time in forever. Wish me luck on the dance floor!

I know this makes me sound like a privileged ungrateful bitch, but I’m so disappointed and borderline offended by my presents from my family.
It was almost all clothes, which they know I hate receiving as a present because they’re extremely out of touch with what I like plus it’s all in the wrong size. Is there a nice, non-awkward way to ask for the receipts so I can return everything and shop for things I actually want? I know it’s the thought that counts, but they can’t have put that much thought into it if they got it this wrong. I feel like a horrible person right now but I can’t help how I feel...

Yes. Just speak with them individually and say something like "Hey, I tried some of these clothes you gave to me but I think it's the wrong size - it doesn't fit me and make me feel a wee bit uncomfortable. Do you mind giving me a receipt if you still have it so I can go to shop by myself and try different size or maybe even something else? I don't want to bother you"

Omfg I'm seriously about to cry in public. I was honestly about to take her off my stan list any day now because she was taking too long but this cover art is already iconic and I know she won't let us down after all this time. I hear it's supposed to be more moody like Love Me Like That and Trouble in the Streets, both of which I love.

Thanks to both of you so much. Sorry for the late reply, I forgot that I posted this until now. Last night I finally broke down and wrote my parents a three-page letter explaining everything, because I knew I wouldn't be able to say it out loud without crying and I would forget something if I delivered the message verbally. It went so well and they aren't mad at me at all and fully support me. I think they're almost relieved in a way, because my current school is so expensive and a teaching degree here means 6+ years of studies. They told me they they never said anything until now because

Has anyone else read this? It completely blew every other book I've read this year out of the water. The ending was insane and it gives the second one infinite possibilities. My favorite character arc was Amari's transformation from weak princess to fierce lionaire. Can't wait for the sequel and the movie!

Not exactly, but I'm still happy about how it turned out. We were going our separate ways and would probably never see each other again, so I decided to just get some closure and tell him how I really felt so I'd have no regrets looking back. But we're doing our own things and are happy for each other.

Never have I been more nervous for a fave's live performance. So many people tuned in to see Mariah fail again tonight, but she didn't give them the satisfaction. After ending 2016 on a bad note she's been able to turn it around and have a pretty good 2017, and New Year's Eve was the final test that would either make it or break it. It didn't blow me away or anything but I didn't expect it to; it was safe and restrained and that's exactly what she needed. She looked so happy with herself once it was over, like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. I get that feeling too after my piano r
