A blessing!

Rhye really owns bedroom music. The hushy voice, the delicate delivery, the cut-throat phrases, the airy expression.
-
Such a glistening listen.

Another day, another defamation jab and attack on @Entea's part. And I am psycho maniac. But it is nice that you also appreciate this music. Maybe you do have some redeeming qualities after all.
@Max I am glad you gave it a shot. His whole debut is similar to this and I enjoy it. Maybe @Entea will join listening party one day unless he starts pretending to be scared.

Such a groove

It really is - the last minute especially.
And speaking of deluxe edition, Criminel ( aka @Entea ) is also nice one.

Oh, yeah, I actually wouldn't expect French people to really know them either since they are not popular that much there from what I ahve informed myself ( they seem to be breaking through apparently since you have come across that info ), but I was going through list of new releases from this past Friday and seeing their new album being classified as French pop caught my attention.
It's a bit muted record, not in a bad way, I am just saying it isn't providing this vibe on all the tracks, but it is up-beat and it gets better from the second or third song more and more.
And, I can totally relate, I am familiar with musical scene over here, but it is not like I listen to it actively, so I get you there, but France has actually pretty nice soundscape in various genres it seems, so it is not surprising non-French can float around it.

You should create a last.fm account! If you haven't one already. I could
stalkyour current discoveries and eventually get to know them if I have time/faith to do so. This is nice, I wonder which source(s) do you use to keep track of the new releases? I feel like the Spotify playlist isn't so helpful for me, or at least doesn't really give me the envy to explore new sounds with their playlists dedicated to new weekly releases lmao.Yeah tbh we have lots of diverse artists here. Last time I was surprised because I actually listened to a recent reggae album which was really fresh-sounding: 1988 by Biga Ranx. The songs were good, and I had no idea it was made by a French artist until I listened to the full album and well, from there I knew because of the features. Anyways I'm getting carried away: Make a last.fm acc rn!

I have used Last.fm before and I think my account is still breathing, but it doesn't track my YouTube sessions ( like this one now ) and as a result doesn't provide whole picture of my listens, since I use YouTube and Spotify equally.
Yeah, Spoitfy is neatly organized, but their New Music category can be scattered all around. I actually trace new releases through Wikipedia, since they have page with dates for the releases and I just pick what I feel like checking out.
There you go - Biga Ranx ( new name to check out ). This will be great, I already can sense it.
If I get to the end of the year here, I may as well go through all my favorite albums of the year. And so far, there are albums I kind of like, but not that many that really grabbed me, even though we are just 3 months in.

Thank you @Ghostface for aligning your self with the light unlike Wonhoocon with those false rumours.
@Wonho when he logs in to FOTP:

What a marvelous debut album from Genesis Owusu.

@Urbi, yes, I would suggest another listen - he covered all the elements, but the melodies are nearly top-notch, not too thumping, but still busy soundscape and I guess I found mashing up soul and hip-hop elements to be the best result of it all, while he thematically was pretty broad.
The songs I didn't particulary feel are the intro ( wasted opportunity really ), title track and No Looking Back, but everything else was there.

@Wonho I often have tests/assignments during the semester with different subjects to deal with so it’s almost like it’s "finals week" all the time. Don’t worry though, my actual next finals will be in May, I’ve been breathing a bit since mid-January

It’s always so funny to me because calling a man "con" in French means that he’s stupid. Which is sort of the immediate translation of a "dumbass" that’s why I needed it to be cleared up, although i had an idea as to why you were using it @Ghostface
-
Well, French people are smart using that term in that fashion as well, @Royale.
-
I am going insane. What a sick, spicy, bumpy, broad arrangement.

There is no proper party and atmosphere without Hercules and Love Affair and their albums. But The Feast of the Broken Heart album is a must for party harder concept.

Unfortunately, @Shego, Woncon has split his face in two.

I took you higher than a note from Mariah
Why isn't @Billie Frank mentioning this new-found UK's gem?

I'm binge watching Handforth Parish Council meetings on Youtube while it @Snows outside. I might start fake stanning queen Jackie Weaver to annoy some inactive members again.

You will only "annoy" currently raving @Snow blizzard.
