Something else caught my attention.

Girls Aloud are reportedly making an epic comeback - and have made a new song dedicated to late bandmate Sarah Harding.
It's said the iconic girl group - comprised of members Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle - met up in London to make a new music video in what has been "one of the best kept secrets in pop". It comes two years after Sarah died at the age of 39 from cancer.
The track is Girls Aloud's first in 11 years, over a decade after their 2012 song Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me. The video will apparently see the stars clad dress up as superheroes.
A source told The Sun: "This has been one of the best kept secrets in pop, but it’s actually happening now. The girls really came back together as friends to rally around when Sarah died, and it repaired some of the old rifts and put things into perspective.
"Suddenly the reunion which had seemed totally impossible for so long just felt a totally natural thing to do — in Sarah’s honour.”The stars are also said to have plans for more new music - and even a tour.
The insider went on: "It’s going to be huge — and they’re all very excited to be back working together, even if there is a bittersweet element to it. Of course, whatever they do, there will always be nods to Sarah’s contribution to the group, too."
The group got together in 2002 after they all won their positions in Girls Aloud on TV show Popstars: The Rivals. They went on to have hits like Sound Of The Underground, Jump and No Good Advice and have also enjoyed solo success.
In 2020, Sarah confirmed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and that it had spread. She passed away in September 2021 and her bandmates told of their heartache as they paid tribute.
Last year the singers reunited for the first time in years to honour the late star. Cheryl, Nadine and Nicola all got together in London to take part in Race For Life, and although Kimberley couldn't make it in person she joined them for an Instagram Live.

Just coming here to say what others have pointed out... That's not Khloe, that's Jesy Nelson.

This marks their first 'new' solo release in almost a decade.

Parts of the instrumental i really like, but the lyrics and vocals are nothing other than awful.

I randomly came across this the other week when it came up under new releases on Spotify, it's a bop.

Rip.
We should never forget that a lot of what she said back in the 90s regarding the Catholic Church that saw her blacklisted turned out to be true...

August 30th is too far away. They should've been releasing it as the hype for Padam starts to cool down.

She's been promoting this for a few months now. The long essay disclaimers send me every time.

This is actually quite nice, I'm sure there's a sample though? Eitherway its a sound thats much more authentic for her.

or actually she should have do that performance from home and save money on travel
If her entire family turned up there would probably be more people there anyway.

Girls Aloud have released a deluxe edition of the Sound Of The Underground album to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The new edition contains preciously unreleased tracks, alternative versions and remixes.

Not sure what her team/management were thinking booking that venue in the first place.

I doubt Disharmony would be able to sell out venues in 2023 either, not unless the venues were cafes. It's not like they were exactly established as a group either.

As much as i hope it's good based on past recent releases i'm not getting my hopes up.

She did it!

She seems so much more confident on stage these days, far more than she has been in at least well over a decade. A great setlist too.

Padam Padam is currently projected to rise to #6 on the UK Official Singles Midweek Chart. This would be Kylie's first top 10 entry since Higher with Taio Cruz in 2011 and her highest charting song since All The Lovers. She would also become the first and only artist to have a solo top #10 in five consecutive decades with an original song.

I believe it's her first song in 13 years since Get Outta My Way to rise after it's first week peak, it's still growing on streaming and starting to get radio push so it might end up making the top 20.
I've thought many things could happen in this decade, but Kylie having a stable top 40 solo hit well in to her 50s was certainly not one of them...

…and the physical CD counting next week, and the rumour of a 7” and then the remixes. The rollout is like the 80’s
It has risen to a new peak of #23 on the UK Singles Chart this week.

Her first UK Top 30 hit in 9 years, I think.
I can actually see it possibly getting in to the top 20 or higher... It's even rising on the likes of Spotify now, which for a "legacy" artist like Kylie is quite something.
