In 2020, I had created a thread meant to rank Katy's discography prior to Smile's arrival. However, since Smile is officially here, I'm going to make a rank listing all of her albums so far. Apparently, Glitter had a "for promo only" version which has a very different tracklist. It can be found here: https://www.discogs.com/release/1676479-Mariah-Carey-Glitter Look at the tracklist. What do you think of it? Personally, I find it rather odd because it's as if all of the ballads were grouped in the last leg of the album. I think it's for the clubs and that's why the uptempos were the main focus? Idk for sure. It also seems that this tracklist follows the plot of the movie compared to the official one. It's fascinating though, given the tracklist that we're used to connects

I think Britney is walking on a thin line because of her fans' reaction to the latest incident involving her and that basketball player (who's apparently a teenager?). She deserves an apology from the security person who hit her, however her most hardcore fans are being too much. The horrifying things I've seen said by those fans online, targeted for the basketball player himself because of his giggles during an interview....they know how weird it looks like to the rest of the world, right? A white woman who, because of her fans, seems to demand apology statements from a black boy. It's weird; Britney deserves better than the type of fans she's been having.

What I really don't like about Padam Padam is the fact that it sounds like a very reductive spin on Can't Get You Out of My Head. Which is ridiculous because the latter is the far simpler song!

It's the mastering/mixing. I mean, all of Golden sounds like it's made in a cheap metal tube under a bridge with a busy traffic.

I know that music reception is completely subjective, but one must be questioned thoroughly whether they're on their right mind or not if they happen to like Born Pink than Renaissance.

Apparently there's another song circulating around called Drum. It's...good! But according to a leaked tracklist it won't be a part of the album. I can't. Between this and the missed opportunity of Lost Without You from Golden, I really wish she could start seeing what sonic direction would give her the advantage of seeming innovative again. Padam Padam is just atrocious.

Her Deconstruction albums are good top to bottom. Body Language is good top to bottom. Even Aphrodite is solid. It's not rare for her before, however now it is.

Hi. If you haven't heard it already, Kylie had released a new song in collaboration with Oliver Heldens, a DJ, and it's called 10 Out of 10. A true what the fuck moment to me. What happened here should have been a puzzling mystery to most, but it's really not. Kylie has been doing the most unimpressive music since Into the Blue, the lead single of Kiss Me Once, flopped to oblivion despite it being one of her best songs since the likes of Spinning Around and Can't Get You Out of My Head.
