    Maybe Music Box's vocals were better than Daydream's. Daydream had extreme elasticity, yes, but most of the time Mariah either overindulged in her singing or sounded uncharacteristically nasal. Idk.

      I think you're very right. Mariah uses her upper chest a lot in Daydream and a lot of it sounds kind of tight/nasal. MB is more balanced. I think case in point is Fantasy vs. Dreamlover. I'm all for ppl loving Fantasy and it being their favorite. But I think Dreamlover is the overall better (and more pleasing) vocal performance.
