  1. For limited time only https://shop.madonna.com/products/madonna-photo-tee-digital-album
  2. This song is getting praised by everyone, even male musicians. Literally the best pop song ever.
  3. It is a truth universally acknowledged that no one bodies a Met Gala look quite like Robyn Rihanna Fenty, the baddest to ever walk the stairs of the storied museum. Which is why many were puzzled about Ri’s absence from the camp-themed 2019 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Benefit, where her presence was sorely missed on Monday night. [...] And although Rihanna may not have been physically present at this year’s gala, it’s worth remembering that all her past Met Gala appearances keep her firmly rooted as the undefeated champion, and for all intensive purposes, the GOAT, of Met Gala looks — a fairly tall order considering that the Met Gala is considered fashion’s biggest night. With her reign as the GOAT of the Met Gala still unchallenged despite some spectacular displays at this year’s event, here’s a look at Rihanna’s best Met Gala fashion moments. http://time.com/5578361/why-wasnt-rihanna-at-met-gala-2019/
  4. The final predictions have it at 680 points (though it will easily do 700+ since he’s lowballing the physicals a lot) which makes ME! the biggest Hot 100 debut of the year points-wise, and of the last 7-8 months. What this means is that ME! would’ve debuted at #1 in any week since last summer but is getting blocked because OTR is one of the biggest hits points-wise ever (the previous biggest debut was 7 rings with 608 points per Simon’s final estimation) People can drag her all they want for getting blocked but she still has the strongest debut of the year despite her alleged “fading power”
  5. Happy birthday, even though you're annoying live, you still go off!
  6. The anthemic track is the first of 4 songs to be unvealed ahead of her upcoming album Madame X. “I wrote ‘I Rise’ as a way of giving a voice to all marginalized people who feel they don’t have the opportunity to speak their mind,” Madonna says in a statement. “This year is the 50th anniversary of Pride and I hope this song encourages all individuals to be who they are, to speak their minds and to love themselves.” Thematically “I Rise” is about coming together to fight adversity, the importance of strength, and surviving during the hardest times. Madonna wrote “I Rise” together with Brittany Talia Hazzard and Jason Evigan. The song is produced by Madonna and Jason Evigan. Tomorrow GLAAD will honour Madonna with the prestigious Advocate for Change Award in New York City. This powerful track, which closes her Madame X album, samples Emma González‘s pro-gun control speech. She is one of the survivors of the Stoneman Douglas High School mass shooting that took place in 2018. https://www.drownedmadonna.com/2019/05/03/madonna-i-wrote-i-rise-as-a-way-of-giving-a-voice-to-all-marginalized-people/
  7. Contrary to what most people might think, Amazon is quite the up and coming music service. They also just launched an ad-supported free tier a few weeks ago, but are mostly paid users. This is great that she broke this record because Amazon has a sizable impact in the charts nowadays. A good example being that it made CLC by Katy chart on the Hot 100 with over 16M streams in a week. Not sure if she did over 16M since this is the debut week record and not overall but easily 10-15M I’d say, given it’s the third largest streaming service in the US now!
  8. Unfortunately the song debuted at #3 but only due to huge competition. She still narrowly bested LWYMMD’s opening week with the best of her career yet.
  9. Maluma never imagined he'd one day get the opportunity to work with Madonna, much less kiss the Queen of Pop! The Colombian crooner and the Material Girl recently teamed up for the song "Medellín" and its accompanying music video, which features the smoldering twosome seductively dancing the cha-cha, cozying up together and even sharing a handful of kisses. "It was nice. I enjoyed that kiss," Maluma, 25, tells ET over the phone about his intimate moment with the pop icon. "It was cool, and not everyone can tell the story of when they kissed Madonna. I had a great time. It was a lot of fun." However, there was another interaction between the two that had fans shocked. Midway through the video, while the two are lying in bed, Madonna takes Maluma's toes and licks them! "I enjoyed it too," the crooner replies with a laugh. "She asked me if I had a problem [with her licking my toes], and I didn't have a problem," he adds. "None, it's all yours. It was fine." EW.Com
  10. Focus or No Tears is next
  11. What this means is that she received 184/184 adds for top 40 (aka pop) radio stations this week. Every single pop station in America (there’s 184) is playing her song, and this is the second time she’s done it - the only artist ever to do so twice!
  12. Released on 30 April 1990 A gay anthem, 1st huge turning point in her career, one of her biggest classics
  13. Ohhhhh, what can I do? Life is beautiful, But you don't have a clue Sun and ocean blue, They're magnificent, It don't make sense to you
  14. With every new Madonna era, fans are consistently clamoring to see how the Material Girl will be reinventing herself. Could it be a disco queen for the new generation (Confessions On A Dance Floor) or quite possibly be an electrified country queen (Music)? This time around, we just may be getting a version of Madonna that is matched very closely with the young girl who first landed in New York and started a love affair with the LGBT community immediately, The same girl that according to lore, landed in New York City with thirty five dollars and said to a taxi cab driver “take me to the center of everything”. All arrows are now pointing to Madame X quite possibly, being Madonna’s ultimate love letter to the LGBT community. Kicking off with her surprise appearance at The Stonewall Inn in New York City on New Year’s Eve, Madonna said this to a crowd of well over one hundred people packed into the landmark establishment: “Fifty years of sacrifice, 50 years of standing up to discrimination, hatred, and worst of all, indifference. And it all started here, at Stonewall,” concluding with “let us never forget the Stonewall riots and those who bravely stood up and said- ‘Enough!’ Words like these ring beyond truthful from the Material Girl; so much so, she was deemed a Stonewall Ambassador, supporting Stonewall Day & the 50th Anniversary of Stonewalll. Then there were the drag queens. Several months ago, word leaked that RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 co-winner Monet X Change would be appearing in “a new Madonna video” (resulting in a very public dust up with a former tour company that she had been a part of). During the resulting press, other queens started to leak that they also had been asked to appear in the video, including Season 4 provocateur Phi Phi O’Hara. Madonna has always been known to tap into what is culturally in vogue (pardon the pun) and has consistently used her music to deliver a pointed political message in times when the country has needed it most (who could ever forget the polarizing, and at that time, uber provocative American Life video and Patty Hearst-esuqe album cover). Released during the George W. Bush era, the music on this album was politically charged and was considered by many to be a referendum on Bush’s extreme policies at that time that were directly attacking the LGBT community in a pre marriage equality world. Word leaked online early this morning that one of the tracks that will be released prior to her latest full album Madame X dropping will quite possibly, one of her most landmark tracks yet.I Rise is scheduled to be released May 3rd and while very little is known about the track other than the name, several instagram followers have done some sleuthing of their own and released some sparkling dish on the track, which definitely seems to match up with the tea that leaked very early this morning. With the 50th Anniversary of The Stonewall Riots as well as World Pride colliding on New York City’s Christopher Street on a (sure to be) gorgeous Sunday in June, many are expecting Madonna to quite possibly, be making an appearance on the ultimate stage for Pride, the same stage that Cher, Whitney Houston & Kylie Minogue have all performed on to the complete adulation of thousands of members of the LGBT community; Pride Island (formerly the appropriately named Pier Dance). While it remains to be seen if Madonna will be gracing the crowd with her presence, something tells me that the music we will be getting from one of our communities original advocates will be one of the definitive soundtracks of our summer. https://instinctmagazine.com/post/madonnas-i-rise-may-be-the-pride-anthem-that-we-all-need-this-summer/
  15. Someone explain me how she got so skinny so fast
  16. ME! did exactly 57 million views in its first 24 hours, surpassing Blackpink’s “Kill This Love” (56.7M) as the biggest opening day for a female artist on YouTube. She also surpassed thank u, next’s opening day views. BTS still holds the overall record for Boy With Luv but I’m happy with this outcome since it’s way more than I expected
  17. Impressive considering the lack of Spotify, but annoying since it would’ve been way higher with it.
  18. She is already at 13M+ and beat BTS who did 10M in 3 hours, as ME! did it in less than 2.5 hours!
