So I've always been a fan of Gotye, and it bothers me that the only song everyone knows of is 'Somebody That I Used To Know' (featuring Kimbra), because he's SUCH a good, trippy artist and his music videos are literally so beautiful, and STIUTK is so overrated so.... Discuss.

Absolute most original and musically/vocally talented band of before I was born (get your visors you know who you are, shade has been thrown +cool+) Ok seriousness. Aside from the psychedelic bent, their music encompasses an array of human emotion and conflict, often intertwined with jarring and sometimes lulling instrumentals. Their vocals are quite underrated as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUwUKyztI10 This sorrow-tinged lament of a musician so overcome by stage fright that they literally give him heroin/other drugs so the show can go on (this never appends right?)

Bet i'm the only Smashing Pumpkins fan on here :tehe:
