  1. Efron has just signed on to host and executive produce a brand new cooking and travel documentary special for MTV, People reports. The network made the announcement at their Upfront presentation in New York City last week. Rather than focusing on Efron eating strange cuisines or trying his hand at cooking food from around the world, the special will instead center around figuring out how food “has moved to the center of the millennial culture.” “The project will look beyond the extravagant and obscure in food to explore the artistry, storytelling and journeys in what we eat, and the issues and experiences surrounding what we find on our plates,” said the network of the upcoming project. Coming up next, Efron is set to star opposite Seth Rogen in Neighbors 2 (out in theaters May 20), and opposite Pitch Perfect’s Anna Kendrick and Adam DeVine in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (out in theaters July 8). Additionally, Efron is currently hard at work filming Baywatch which, also stars Dwayne Johnson and Quantico’s Priyanka Chopra. The upcoming big screen adaptation of the hit 90s tv series is set to be released in 2017. Source

  3. Fans of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are in for a disappointment, as the much-awaited album collaboration is reportedly not happening. It has been learned that Spears never approached Timberlake to work with her on some new music for her comeback album, Star Pulse reported. The publication stressed that the pop star is reportedly done working on her ninth album with an intended release in June. This also debunks rumors that the 34-year-old pop star is doing a series of "Piece of Me" concerts with Timberlake at Planet Hollywood and Casino. It has been reported that the "Suit & Tie" hit maker is considering joining the pop star, as he already missed performing on a regular basis and that he has been itching to get back on stage. Nonetheless, the rumor mill has it that the 35-year-old singer-songwriter reportedly refuses to work with the pop star because his wife, Jessica Biel, has reportedly prohibited him because of jealousy. Biel, known for her role as Mary Camden in "7th Heaven" reportedly worries that the collaboration could jeopardize their relationship, considering that Spears and Timberlake previously dated for almost three years. While it is no news that the married couple has been tossed with rumors claiming that their relationship is on the rocks due to Timberlake's controlling attitude, the "Bleeding Heart" actress gushed how lucky she is to have Timberlake as her spouse and stressed that their relationship has only gotten stronger. "He supports everything that I do and that's I think why he's a wonderful partner," Biel said during her guest appearance in ''Good Morning America." Timberlake and Biel started dating in 2007 and got engaged after four years. On Oct. 29, 2012, the couple officially tied the wedding knots at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy and welcomed their first child, Silas, in April 2015. "It was magical. It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple said in an exclusive statement sent to People magazine. X

  5. New legal documents, from Britney's ongoing lawsuit with former manager Sam Lufti, have surfaced and describe in detail Britney's struggles in 2007/8 according to TMZ, 'The judges say when Britney and Sam met in 2007 her life was in turmoil. The judges say Sam advised Britney about "the importance of getting clean." Britney's family claims Sam was actually the one who fueled her with drugs.' The documents go on to say that the abuse got so bad that at one point she slept in a parking lot. Sam is claiming that he tried to help her, Britney's team is saying he fueled it. 6. POP icon Britney Spears has reportedly hired a "swagger coach" in a bid to regain her onstage confidence. Over the last couple of months, Britney has seriously upped the energy at her Las Vegas shows. Where she once missed a step or cue, the superstar now performs perfect choreography around the clock at the constantly sold out venue. And Britney is said to credit her new-found sass to the mystery employee."She won't tell anyone what they do or who he is, but it's working. She's more confident than she's been in forever." Source

  9. A rare piece of movie memorabilia from Prince's 1984 classic film Purple Rain is hitting the auction block. Prince donned the black-and-white blazer with leather sleeves while riding a motorcycle with co-star Apollonia Kotero. "It's definitely the most important piece of screen-worn Prince clothing that's ever come up for auction," said Joe Maddalena, president of the Calabasas, California-based auction house, Profiles in History. "This is a signature piece of wardrobe worn from an iconic movie in his most famous role." The coat is a unique find from the typically reclusive artist, who was found dead last week at his Paisley Park complex just outside of Minneapolis. "Prince memorabilia in general, it just really doesn't exist. It seems like he controlled it all," Maddalena said. "This is the first time ever for something like this, and it might be the only time because the rest of the costumes may be in his (personal) wardrobe." The original seller said her sister, a makeup artist, received the piece from Prince after they worked together on Purple Rain. The June 29th auction will also include costumes from Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys and a Swarovski crystal studded glove from Michael Jackson's 1992 Dangerous world tour. Maddalena said he believes the Purple Rain blazer will be the "star of the show" and expects it to sell for much more than the asking price, $6,000 to $8,000. "Hopefully it will reach a price that is equivalent to his stature as a musician," he said. Source
  10. One day, someone will release them. I don't know that I'll get to release them," he said back in 2012. "There's just so many." The seven-time Grammy Award winner reportedly left behind a vault containing so much music his estate could put out an album a year for the next century. Source
  11. It may seem like Evan Peters has his acting career on track, but even he’s “still trying to figure it out.” In a recent interview with James Franco for Hero magazine, the actor opened up about how he got his start as an actor and how he’s dealing with it now. At the beginning of his career, Peters appeared in a slew of projects aimed at teens, such as “Sleepover” and “Phil of the Future.” (Yes, it’s true.) The characters he played were stereotypical goofy boys, eager to chase after “babes.” Of course, over the years, he’s gotten a few deeper roles, such as school shooter Tate Langdon in “American Horror Story,” and Chapin in “Elvis & Nixon” alongside Hollywood heavyweight Kevin Spacey. When Franco asked, “When did you start knowing what you were doing?” Peters responded by saying, “I still don’t know what I’m doing, I’m still trying to figure it out.” “I was only 18 or 19 then,” he added. “I was a real snot-nosed, punk-ass teenager, so I was taking things for granted and just wanted things to happen and be what I wanted them to be, in terms of performances, without really knowing what to do or the amount of work that was needed to put into it.” Before he finally got cast in “AHS,” a show that would prove pivotal in his career, Peters admitted he went to his first audition for the show because he was “desperate for a job.” “I hadn’t had work in a while, I was just getting these guest spots and I realized that I had to really start applying myself because before, like I said, I was just a teenager and I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do,” he said. “My manager at the time told me that there was a Ryan Murphy show and that everything he touches turns to gold so it would be amazing if I got it.” That manager surely deserved a raise if he or she didn’t get one already. The actor then recalled a particularly bloody first day on set, which makes sense for Murphy’s horror TV show. “I remember one of the first days, we were shooting a scene and Ryan goes, ‘Ok, I want to have blood poured all over Evan right now, we’re going to put him in the corner and turn the camera on and it’s going to be great,’’ he recalled. “You know how Ryan works, he’s very creative, it’s his show so he’s writing it and creating it as he’s directing. It’s very cool working with him and it’s very impulsive, I like that.” Thanks to the show, Peters realized it was time for him to really start trying. “I was like ‘Oh, this is a really good show, I have to start working out, I have to start eating eating right, I have to start trying to be good and not fuck up,” he said. “I was really trying really hard on that first season.” Clearly, all that trying paid off.
