  8. In an interview with a German radio station today: We know she’s confirmed for Latin America and this was in a phone interview with a German radio station, I’m sure she wouldn’t say this if she didn’t really want to / have plans. Hopefully she tests the water with the usual UK stadium dates and does mostly arenas throughout mainland Europe. She could easily fill big arenas (20k+) but not sure about stadiums. Excited either way especially for the fans in Europe!
  9. - Album has a big story, lots of “in depth lyrics” she’s really proud of - Some fans have already guessed the title - She will do some type of live stream to reveal the title / etc and hangwith fans - ME! was not the first song recorded - ME! obviously sounds very different from the rest of the record, as usual
  10. Madonna and Maluma are performing “Medellín” for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday, and according to a new report from TMZ, expect something out of this world. Madonna is reportedly shelling out $5 million of her own money to fund the 7-minute performance, which will include cutting-edge technology to project holograms alongside green screen CGI. Her camp is billing it as one of the most ambitious live televised performances ever attempted. Fans are split when it comes to “Medellín.” Some just aren’t feeling it, but I personally think it’s incredible. Madonna wants to convince the naysayers that her new evolution is a step forward with this performance. It’s costing her several million, but her art is priceless. https://www.breatheheavy.com/madonna-bbmas-5-million-performance/
  11. Bohemian Rhapsody is being followed up by a new documentary called The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story. Airing tonight in the US, the film tells of the story of how Taylor and May teamed up with singer Lambert resulting in a partnership that’s seen Queen continue to tour the world. In an interview with Good Morning America today, Taylor revealed how it felt like Queen was done after Freddie Mercury died in 1991. Taylor said: “We thought it was all over. And I think Brian and I, well we kinda thought that was the end of that chapter.” Of course, Queen continued in different forms with another stint as the band’s predecessor Smile in 1992 and then in 1995 they released their last album with Mercury called Made in Heaven. But by 1997 bassist John Deacon decided to retire and Queen continued on until collaborating with singer Paul Rodgers from 2004-2009. Then in 2011, they initiated their current partnership with Lambert. Taylor mentioned that despite Mercury’s death Queen’s continuation had been “fate unfolding”, especially in the case of Lambert. The drummer said: “And everything that’s happened, especially since we met Adam has just been fate unfolding.” The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story airs on ABC in the US this evening at 8/7c. However, a UK release date for the Bohemian Rhapsody follow-up is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Lambert has spoken of Freddie Mercury’s loneliness ahead of the documentary. https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/music/1120461/Bohemian-Rhapsody-Roger-Taylor-Freddie-Mercury-Queen-documentary-Adam-Lambert-Brian-May
  12. On Thursday, CHVRCHES posted a statement about recent collaborator Marshmello working with abuser Chris Brown and predator Tyga on their new song "Light It Up." Today, Chris took to Instagram to fire back at the band: P.S. I did not like his comment myself. It was like that in the screenshot I found.
  13. But we need the artist to perform the song!
  14. “I hate all these songs now. I might even replace them all. I’m supposed to be finishing the album this month or whatever, but I’ve been making a **** ton of new music instead. Which is a really bad idea.” She sighs, thinks for a moment."
  15. In an interview for the April 27 issue of Billboard magazine, Maluma discussed how the collaboration with Madonna started. Maluma said that he arranged for meeting Madonna before his performance at the MTV’s Video Music Awards 2018. He’s always been a fan of her, and “and, I thanked her for having made music history.” After his performance, Guy Oseary called Maluma‘s manager and “told him she wanted to do a song with me.” Madonna already had a song called Medellín, and proposed it to him. Medellín is Maluma‘s hometown. “Maybe when she wrote it she had me in mind — I don’t know,” said Maluma. Maluma also talked about the creative process. “I had the opportunity to write one of the main choruses and all my verses,” said Maluma. “She wanted me to perform in the sexiest way possible,” he added. Maluma also “taught her how to pronounce some words — I was trying to help her with the accent.” Maluma thinks this collaboration with Madonna “is something big for our [Latin] industry.” Read the full interview below. How did you two meet? I went to MTV’s Video Music Awards to sing “Felices los 4” [in 2018]. Madonna’s manager is friends with Walter [Kolm, Maluma’s manager], and they had arranged for us to meet. We went to her dressing room and Lenny Kravitz was there too, but truth is I’d gone there to meet her. We spoke for a couple of minutes. It was a beautiful moment: I gave her a huge kiss, I took her hand, I thanked her for having made music history, I looked into her eyes and told her I was charmed to meet her. She has a very special look in her eyes. And then I ran out to perform. Afterward, her management team called Walter and told him she wanted to do a song with me. Medellín is your hometown. Is that the reason for the song’s title? When we started to talk, she said, “I have a song for you called ‘Medellín,’ ” and I almost had a heart attack. Maybe when she wrote it she had me in mind — I don’t know. I had the opportunity to write one of the main choruses and all my verses. What’s it like to be in the studio with Madonna? She wanted me to perform in the sexiest way possible. I initially wanted to rap more aggressively, but she said, “No. That’s not who you are. You are sensuality. Try to do it as if you had the woman of your dreams in front of you.” She was all about bringing out that romanticism. How’s her Spanish? I taught her how to pronounce some words — I was trying to help her with the accent. She sings the chorus in Spanish with me. Were you always a Madonna fan? All my life. She isn’t just an artist; she’s a movement. The truth is I always dreamt of collaborating with her. I think this is something big for our [Latin] industry. I want the whole world to feel pride at this step I’m taking — not just as an artist, but culturally. https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/latin/8508516/maluma-madonna-medellin-bbma-2019-interview
  16. Mark Ronson did an AMA today and was asked about his work with Lana. A while back, Lana had said that they were supposed to work together on "Terrence Loves You", but strongly implied that the time they spent in the studio together led to nothing worthwhile and they scrapped it all. Evidently, it was just Mark's production that got scrapped wholesale, since "Terrence Loves You" was later released with Rick Nowels' production. https://www.reddit.com/r/popheads/comments/bglky0/hello_im_mark_ronson_and_my_video_for_late_night/ellskad/
