  1. Making this thread soon but @Dennis Reynolds wanted a taglist so with that being said: Who wants to be added to the official FOTP Halsey taglist? - @Luca @Snow @Laura
  2. Geez, I think I slept on this one for too long, the vocals, the background vocals & harmonies, what a gorgeous track.
  3. Liberation is my current second favorite Xtina's album because of...well, look at the material! However, for such a heavy title, this album is actually kind of confusing. Weird. Problematic too. If you ever paid attention to the songs, especially with that tracklist, the way the story goes from one track to another is such a scary thing. Basically, every songs after Like I Do are not so liberated because started with Deserve it seemed that the [problematic] protagonist of the story is engaged in such a toxic relationship that affect both her and her partner so negatively. Then, she goes into Twice which I still don't quite understand whether she's singing about herself or the partner, nevertheless it's a touching soul ballad. After that comes that interlude, and then Accelerate, Pipe, Masochist, and finally the albums ends with Unless It's With You. So...she broke away from the 'slavery' that was The Voice yet still is enslaved in her personal romantic life? Or is it really a liberation if a woman still decides to maintain what seems to be a toxic relationship as long as she herself decides that fate? But she also found guilty pleasures in people that she just met to hook up casually...despite the ongoing relationship? Has it not ever stayed, must it always fade away?
  4. I can't believe it's only been a month tbh felt like a whole year Has y'all's top 5 changed 1 month after is release? My top 2-5 change every week but 911 remains at the top spot 1. 911 (=) 2. Babylon (=) 3. Rain On Me (+1) 4. 1000 Doves (-1) 5. Plastic Doll (+4) only because it comes after 911 so it grew on me
  5. I was looking at their singles discography and was actually kinda surprised that they only ever released 7 singles! Which one do you think is the best? SINGLES: Falling Down Naturally Round & Round A Year Without Rain Who Says Love You Like A Love Song Hit the Lights
  6. I really liked this thread. Britney has always been the sweetest and least problematic popstar. She never did anything to anyone and never threw shade. All of these people (and more) should be ashamed of themselves for being cruel to her for no reason.

Turn the AOTY winner into 8 tracks. 1. Welcome to New York 2. Blank Space 3. Style 4. Out of the Woods 5. All You Had to Do Was Stay 6. Shake it Off 7. I Wish You Would 8. Bad Blood 9. Wildest Dreams 10. How You Get the Girl 11. This Love 12. I Know Places 13. Clean 14. Wonderland 15. You Are In Love 16. New Romantics
  9. I see a lot of praise for it in the fandom but I think it's overrated. The first half is good but the rest is really boring. Lover, 1989, Red and Speak Now are way better.

It’s such a feel good album. It beautifully portrays the ups and downs of a relationship with a bit of banter. From Summer to Lovehappy album is full of bangers, vibes and tunes to chill. Why is it being skipped by most of the Beyhive? Is it because of Jay Z? Is it because of lack of songs that could smash on the radio?
  11. I would like to see a good, faithful adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. While there have been many good Frankenstein movies and some even masterpieces, they aren't very close to the novel. Kenneth Branagh's version is rather close to the novel in story, and the liberties it takes are mostly fine with me (after all, literature and film are different mediums and if I want something exactly like the book, I have the book), but it's an awful movie It is far too bombastic for its own good and DeNiro is simply miscast. Which is a shame, because Branagh had done some great Shakespeare adaptations and some very good original films like Dead Again. I wanna like it, but I just can't
  12. I can't think of a way to twist this into a lounge thread so it's going here Yesterday I was thinking about Scooby-Doo and I realized something about the premise of the series. The crux of the franchise is pretty much criminals pretending to be ghosts/monsters (which is a bizarrely common crime in that universe but that's another story), but something is strange about the approach of the victims of the crimes/hauntings - if there's a ghost in your amusement park, wouldn't you either believe it or not? In other words, if you think it's someone scamming you, wouldn't you call the police? And if you really did think it was a ghost, wouldn't you call an exorcist? Why exactly is Mystery Inc. the go-to? It's like they're wishy washy about whether it's a ghost or not so they land on some teenagers and their dog
  13. I think if this was released, she would've definitely been a different pop star She would've made a perfect follow up to In the zone and we would've seen a much more personal side to her music ex: Someday i'll understand Especially if she proceeded to release Blackout right after Welcome to the tea pardy
  14. Honestly, even a fucking thirty seconds snippet from Rihanna would be greatly appreciated at this point.... Some Ari music would be nice too

Can we all agree that Adele is successful because she's fat? Just like Gaga was successful cause she was ugly (well, she still is but not as much as before the surgery) and like Britney cause she's stupid
  16. LOVE ON TOUR - Harry Styles 1. Fine Line 2. Watermelon Sugar 3. She 4. Sweet Creature 5. Two Ghosts 6. Falling 7. Lights Up 8. Steal My Girl 9. Canyon Moon 10. To Be So Lonely 11. Adore You 12. Kiwi 13. Golden 14. Cherry 15. Story of My Life 16. Treat People With Kindness 17. Sign of the Times Fine Line : 11 Harry Styles: 4 One Direction: 2
  17. Do you want Ariana to go full R&B like her recent snippet, Nasty? or do you want her to stay in her pop lane? after all, when Rain On Me was released she did say she missed singing big pop anthems and that Max Martin will always have a place on her albums. Or do you want something else? let's discuss!
  18. Christina Maria Aguilera has a lot of music. What is your ranking of her discography? Mine is this: 1. Keeps Gettin' Better (a compilation full of one definite promise...that unfortunately gotten away for so many years) 2. Stripped (she will never top this project) 3. Liberation (wait, she did! but not really...) 4. Back to Basics (a lot of basics, but gorgeous nonetheless) 5. Bionic (I wish this album was entirely sounded like Birds of Prey or Monday Morning or Little Dreamer or at least Elastic Love) 6. Christina Aguilera (this album is very good, there's a reason why it sold so many copies guys) 7. Lotus (good concept, good motivation...but why?) 8. Burlesque (basically Back to Basics but make it a bunch of Nasty Naughty Boys) Had it ever been a thread? If yes, I'll delete it soon.
