  1. This could be a quite short list, but what songs can you think of that name other actual singers or songwriters in the title? I have come across a handful lately: Pulp - Bob Lind (The Only Way Is Down) Jimmy Webb - P.F.Sloan Bob Evans - Ron Sexsmith Van Morrison - Jackie Wilson Said Tears For Fears - Brian Wilson Said best ringtone I'm sure I have heard others - just can't think of them at the moment. Songs like "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes", which is about Judy Collins but does not actually use the name, don't count. The person's name must actually appear in the title. Of course there are any number of songs that mention "Elvis", but they usually only give the first name, leaving it unclear which Elvis is referred to. tag: Lana Del Rey Doin’ Time Ringtone

She has the longest running album by a female artist on the Billboard 200, the female album with most weeks in the top ten(a whooping 84 weeks) on the Billboard 200, and the top two selling albums this decade: 21(2011)-31 million copies 25(2015)-20 million copies(so far) She has fourth most number ones this decade with four, currently tied with Taylor Swift. She also is in fourth place with most weeks on top of the Hot 100, 24 weeks in total. "Hello'' is the most successful song of 2015, selling 12.3 million copies by the year-end. It also became the first digital single to sell a millon copies in a week in the U.S.A. Also, she has the two top selling albums this decade in the UK, with 21 selling 4.9 million copies and 25 selling 3 million copies. As of this century, only Adele has three albums to cross 2 million copies in the UK, with 19 selling some 2.3 million copies its self. 21 is the fourth best selling album in the UK of all time. ''Someone Like You'' is the fourth best-selling single of this century with 1.5 million copies. Adele has won 10 Grammys, a Golden Globe, 18 Billboard Awards and 3 MTV Video Awards. ''Hello'' is one of thr most nominated videos in the shows history with a currently 7 nominations. I think she almost legendary. Thoughts?
  3. I thought this would be interesting to have like a list of songs that Kesha wrote/ sang for other artists if I'm missing any comment and I will add more info to the songs after I post or if I remember any more 31 Seconds Alone - Given to Spanish singer Edurne although Kesha doesn't have writing credits on it her full demo leaked. Blackout - A song recorded by Pixie Lott that went unreleased. While Pixie isn't credited as a vocalist on BMI Kesha is credited as a songwriter. Kesha can be heard on the track. Butterscotch - Given to f(x) who recorded it for a make up commercial. When asked if it would make Kesha's debut album Animal in 2009, she replied maybe. Kesha reacted postivevly when she found it it was sent to them tweeting "Never know when and HOW???? one of your old songs will find a new life…." Boy Like You - Given to Charlee as her debut single and lead single from her debut album This Is Me Boombox - A Dirt nasty song where kesha has writing credits on. She also sings parts of the chorus and has background vocals used in the song. Uncredited as a feature. Chain Reaction - Given to Girls Generation which appeared on their first greatest hits album The Best Cougars - Another Dirt Nasty song that appeared on their second album Nasty As I Wanna Be. Kesha appears as a writer on the song. Coming Unglued - Given to Hayden Panettiere for her EP Wake Up Call 2008. Haydens Demo leaked in late October 2019. Kesha's vocals can be heard/ are present in Haydens version. Disgusting - Given to Miranda Cosgrove for her album Sparks Fly. Kesha talked about the song on Digital Spy and said "Yeah, there was a song I wrote for myself and for whatever reason it didn't end up on the record and somebody else really wanted to record it - so I let her, but usually I don't like doing it that way. It was for Miranda Cosgrove" Dysfunctional - A song recorded by Pixie Lott that went unreleased. While Pixie isn't credited as a vocalist on BMI Kesha is credited as a songwriter. Miami Nights - Kesha is credited as a writer and vocalist on the song that appears on Dirt Nasty for their second album Nasty As I Wanna Be. Run Devil Run - Given to Girls Generation as a single for their second album Oh! (which was later repackaged to be called run devil run) This Love - Given to The Veronicas as a third single for their album Hook Me Up The Time of Our Lives - Given to Miley Cyrus for $1.63 Credited as a background vocalist so a demo probably exists somewhere Til The World Ends - Written with Britney in mind to be submitted as a demo for her 7th studio album Femme Fatale, it made the cut as a single and was re released with vocals from Kesha herself and Nicki Minaj. Apparently a 10 second snippet of her demo leaked but that might be just a stem edit Touch Me - Kesha is credited as a writer for this song but not vocalist despite singing the chorus and having ad-libs in the verses. It appeared on Flo Rida's second studio album R.O.O.T.S. Ur Not My Daddy - Was renamed to 'Not My Daddy and Given to Eva. Kesha's demo features vocals from Laze & Royal. Woohoo - Re-titled to 'Windows Down' for Big Time Rushes second studio album Elevate and released as a single Kesha as a background vocalist but not writer: Lace and Leather - A Britney Spears song that appears on her 6th studio album Circus. Kesha is credited as a background vocalist and said this about the song in a 2009 interview with MTV 'I just did backgrounds for her ’cause I was so broke. I needed to pay my rent. I got a few bucks. No, I didn't meet her. I just did backups for her.' Nothing In This Word - A Paris Hilton song that appears on her debut album Paris. Kesha is credited as a background vocalist. *Note Pink Champagne doesn't credit Kesha as a song writer, only her mum Green - Kesha's demo leaked Yellow - Kesha's demo partially leaked Red - Kesha's demo hasn't leaked/ doesn't exist

  7. Both of these females are talented and interesting Pop Artists. They both have pop discographies and are well known (Gaga more so though) Who has the more distinctive and unique voice?
  8. 5. Thinking Of You Total Streams: 66.9M (Original + Acoustic) Perhaps there is nothing unexpected about this fan favorite song becoming a classic in Katy Perry's discography. However, when put in context of the album it stems from, its streaming numbers become quite surprising! Despite having modest chart success, (#29 bbh100) it receives nearly double the recurrent streams of top 10 hit Waking Up in Vegas. The acoustic version also manages to out-do several album tracks on One of The Boys. 4. Swish Swish (ft. Nicki Minaj) Total Streams: 293M Swish Swish made a lot of noise for Katy despite not even entering the top 40 on bbh100. The star studded video, the backpack kid, the Taylor beef, the memes and the Ellen haircut all made it feel like a big event (perhaps one that we'd like to forget!) With all that in mind, it might not be so surprising that it became a streaming hit for Katy. However, what put it on this list is its current domination over Chained to the Rhythm. Despite peaking at #4 on bbh100, having 400M streams and being a much bigger WW hit, it receives less recurrent streams than Swish Swish. 3. Unconditionally Total Streams: 202M If there was a hit Katy really wanted to happen, it was most definitely Unconditionally. Though her efforts didn't reap the success she probably would have wanted, streaming helped solidify the song as a classic in her discography. It may not come as a total surprise that the 3rd biggest song from Prism receives the 3rd most streams from that album. However, it becomes a surprise when this top 15 hit receives more recurrent streams than half of her #1s on Teenage Dream and literally any song on Witness. An acoustic version would have definitely pushed the song to further streaming highs. 2. The One That Got Away Total Streams: 298M (Original + Acoustic) Again, this is another instance of "oh wow, this isn't really unexpected!" However on second thought, it's probably the most statistically shocking song on here. Despite peaking at #3 following five #1 singles from one album, it receives the most recurrent streams from Teenage Dream between the original and acoustic version. Extremely impressive for the least successful song of 6 singles. Stream for clear skin and to remind Katy that she needs to release more ballads! 1. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F) Total Streams: 294M (Original + Remix) Last Friday Night is the most surprising Katy Perry streaming hit. Over the past three months, it received the most recurrent streams from Katy's discography including monster hits like Dark Horse, Roar and Firework. It is the only #1 on this list, so perhaps its streaming success should not come as a surprise. However, it is undoubtedly one of Katy's lowest performing #1 hits, only behind Part Of Me. Perhaps Last Friday Night reminds people of iconic early 2010s parties!
  9. eg: Kesha - Ariana, Pink Champagne Kesha - Britney, Till The World Ends Gaga - Britney, Quicksand Kesha - Miley, Time Of Our Lives Avril - Rihanna, Cheers (Drink to That)
  10. this is one of her best ballads... lyrics, production - did you hear those guitars and drums???? , VOCALS ... pure beauty highlight of I Am... definitely if not then prove me wrong girlies if you’re a hater I have a bad news - you’re probably as ugly inside as you are outside!!!!!
  11. So this album is basically perfection and I don't skip any song but I do feel like Underappreciated is kind of a filler that doesn't hold up to the rest. Also I feel like Soar and Keep On Singing My Song kinda drag on and since they're at the end by the time you get to them you're fatigued with the album. So what about you? Do you skip any songs or find some songs filler? If anyone says Cruz your opinion is invalid

  16. so as y'all know two versions of birthday suit have been leaked one the musicmafia snippet and the other one that leaked in full. the musicmafia version way better instrumental production and decent enough balancing while the one that leaked in full is a complete mess in terms of its balancing and has a few of the instrumental elements found in the musicmafia one missing but actually has harmonies not found in the musicmafia one which is strange because the musicmafia one sounds WAY more developed anyway I tried recreating the musicmafia one because the leaked one at least for me took out what I liked so much about the musicmafia one and was much more balanced using a few phoncmind acapella/ instrumental filters and a few other filters in audacity to make a more balanced bridge it sounds more similar to the musicmafia version now the instrumental is still the same as the one that leaked in full as the musicmafia one has those damn snippets I made 2 versions one with my shitty filter of the last line synth AKA my favourite part and one without any improvements are appreciated I can change background vocal/ lead vocal volume along with instrumental volume and bring up other background vocals/ harmonies such as the last 'in your birthday suit 2x' part which I haven't got round to yet but let me knowww if anyone wants a d/l PM

  20. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUUUUCCCKKK???? This would have easily been her best ballad. The natural and soft vocals, the melody, the lyrics. This just keeps proving what many people have been saying. ARTPOP has been screwed up BIG TIME. Who needed a Rick Rubin production when this slayed the absolute SHIT out of the final product??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0XjLUF844k
