  4. Estimated retail revenues from recorded music in the United States grew 11.4 percent to $7.7 billion in 2016, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.   18. Struggling HMV Canada goes into receivership TORONTO — An Ontario Superior Court of Justice approved an application to place HMV Canada Inc. into receivership on Friday.
