So as some of you may know, I got to see Queen B last Saturday at her St. Louis show and it was INCREDIBLE Tickets were expensive ($300 ) but we were the 7th row behind the Bey stage so I was REALLY close to her at some parts in the show. I was surprised by how tiny she was but when I got to see her close, I was blown away by how GORGEOUS that woman is. The whole concert stage was crazy too. Apparently the giant 6 story screen was also where she'd change in between sets? Some highlights: -Formation was amazing. The whole stadium was LIT and dancing and singing along. S

(x) Ladies, gentlemen, monsters, it's official: Lady Gaga is back. Thursday a little before 11 p.m. Eastern, the queen monster herself dropped her fifth album's long-awaited first single, "Perfect Illusion." Blaring guitars, a thumping disco beat and one jaw-dropping key change, it's every bit as thunderous as the head-banging cover art suggested it would be.

Debut - Björk Hey y'all, so I thought I'd try my hand at a review blog, and there's no better way to start than by reviewing my fave's discography, starting with my fave's debut, Debut Even though I stan, I will be totally fair with rankings. This will be a track by track review. Enjoy.mp3! 1. Human Behavior: 5/10 I've truthfully never been that huge on Human Behavior Sorry Bjallah. The production just kinda turns me off, and nothing really keeps me wanting to come back to the song. I do like the lyrics, however, but I usually like most, if not all of Björk's lyr

Even her B-sides are reliably great soundtracks for falling in love and going to the store. The Atlantic Magazine SPENCER KORNHABER SEP 3, 2016 A Carly Rae Jepsen song is an irony-free zone. Unlike with the Beyoncés and Taylor Swifts of the world, are no meta-narratives about fame and personal lives to untangle, no satirical winks, and few expeditions to unexpected musical traditions. It’s just 2010s pop technology recreating 1980s pop carefreeness, reliably spitting out giddy, deeply felt, and well-crafted tributes to such simple things as falling in love, falling ou

JANET JACKSON - THE ALBUM RANKING Throughout her music career, Janet has explored a variety of music genres and has experimented with changes of sound and image. She has released a total of 11 Studio Albums in her career and has sold over 100 Million Records worldwide. For this blog post I will ranking her 11 albums from worst to best, with each album I will also choose my favourite 3 songs from the album and 1 song that is my least favourite. These decisions will be harder for some albums than others, but I will try my best to explain how I feel about a certain album. #11 - Dr

Listen up sluts. I have a confession. My stanning for the legendary Princess of Pop, Miss Britney Jean haself has (unfortunately) fluctuated on and off throughout the years. One of the consequences of that tragic mistake is that little 10 year old SockBitch had somehow endure life without the immaculate gift from heaven that is ITZ. Yes, I have loved the FUCK out of Me Against the Music and Toxic for 13 years now, but I literally could not name another song off the album until now, and it's all thanks do you dear FOTP. All this ITZ worship surrounding Glory (peace be upon it) has made me go ba

Britney Spears 'Glory' 2016 Album Review For the Physical Deluxe review click here: https://talkabouttunes.wordpress.com/2016/08/29/britneyglory2016/ 1. Invitation (B.Spears, J.Michaels, J.Tranter, N.Monson) Instantly, this sounds like a zen track from Britney with an Asian twist to it. “Here’s my invitation baby” works great as an intro and literally invites the listener to engage in the journey Britney is providing with Glory. “I just need you to trust me” actually makes me nervous as to what to expect, she is keeping her cards close to her

I read it and was in shock of how honestly on point it was. Shady points aside, it really speaks to a lot of why I love Britney so much and how the VMAs was a success despite all its mishaps. And this line is "listening to all of Britney Spears’s albums in chronological order is like looking at an Animorphs cover of a teen girl gradually turning not into a woman, but a cyborg." https://theringer.com/britney-spears-glory-album-vmas-42701dddac4c#.y1cb6tyms

When Beyoncé finished her performance at the 2016 VMAs, there was no question as to who the biggest pop star on the planet is. Not that there was ever any doubt. Bey's performance was powerful — an artistic musing on violence that, like her album, also showcase her showmanship and untouchable talent as an artist... She was met by a standing ovation, the only appropriate response to a force of nature. http://www.vox.com/2016/8/28/12686370/vma-2016-beyonce-lemonade-video-performance

This review doesn't talk about specifically about the album but about Britney's career in general in relation to Glory. I hope they like the album at Billboard and give it a high score when it's officially released. "Now, Spears appears ready to give us her all again. Glory represents something better than a return to form; it is, at long last, a step forward for the 34 year old." http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/7486789/britney-spears-glory-comebacks?utm_source=twitter

Why this is a GREAT idea: Hardcore Disney fans KNOW that the animated Ursula was based off the legendary drag queen Divine, so the live-action sea witch absolutely needs to have a queer sensibility. That’s where gay icon Lady Gaga comes in. She’s got the campy swagger that’s necessary to successfully step into Ursula’s tentacles, and could you IMAGINE her own rendition of “Poor Unfortunate Souls”? Oh, and don’t doubt her acting ability — in addition to all those Grammys, Gaga is the proud owner of a Golden Globe for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel. This is HER role! https:
