It was a damn long journey to get to today for Dua Lipa, England’s newest breakout talent in pop music. Tracing back time, the first track released from the album was “New Love” almost two years ago. Because of label decisions that the album should be available worldwide, release dates were announced one after another, until 8 full songs were already released on the 17-track album – even the album artwork changed at one point. Despite making it hopeless for desperate fans at one point that the album would actually come, it arrived this Friday, and everything was worth the wait. CLI

Halsey has been present in the charts since 2015, when she dropped her debut single ‘Ghost’. That same year she dropped her debut album ‘BADLANDS’, which gained mostly positive reviews from critics. The album spanned four singles, each being rather mediocre hits. The single ‘New Americana’ gained large success with a solid place in the top 40 for a few weeks. In 2016, Halsey teamed up with the Chainsmokers to release their smash single, ‘Closer’. The song was a massive hit, deemed one of the largest hits of 2016, and was #1 in many countries. Now, Halsey has dropped her sophomore album ‘hopele

It has been since 2014 when we last heard from the pop punk trio Paramore. The band is known for the red-haired lead singer, Hayley Williams, and the guitarist Taylor York and Josh Farro, the drummer. They released their debut album in 2005, but released their mainstream album ‘Riot!’ in 2007, gaining international success. Since then, they have pumped out hit after hit, with songs like ‘Ain’t It Fun’, ‘The Only Exception’, and ‘Still Into You’. But, they hadn’t released anything post 2014. But, on April 19, 2017, the band released the lead single for their fifth studio album, ‘After Laughter’

I never posted a full on review about this album, so i thin a track-by-track review will do it justice. I Wanna Dance With Somebody(Who Loves Me)-10/10 Billboard deemed this one of the greatest pop songs of all time- and does Billboard lie? Hardly honeys! So when i say this song is easily among Whitney's best, im not lying. Its a popular opinion. Just the Lonely Talking Again-7.7/10 A 7 is just above average. An 8 is amazing. So to put this song as a 7.7, i mean its better than some songs off the album, but compared to others, its blands. Whitney tries a more "soulful" and

No doubt about it, 2017 is the year of female comebacks to the music industry. With mostly males dominating the charts, female artists have begun coming back for their own success. Artists like Katy Perry, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, and most recently, Selena Gomez have released material this year. Selena released the lead single for her newest album on May 18th titled ‘Bad Liar’. The pop rock track has a new sound we really haven’t heard from Selena and definitely a departure from her most recent album, ‘Revival’. Join me as I review the new song. I never thought I'd live to see the day when Pitchfork gives Selena Gomez best new song designation They manage to throw in shade at her, Miley & Katy while they're at it BEST NEW TRACK Selena Gomez “Bad Liar” Selena Gomez is a figure who has pitched herself right at the center of the celebrity Venn diagram: This is a woman who, in addition to her successful career as a singer, endorses everything from Coach to Coca-Cola, has acted in wholesome Disney television shows and edgy Harmony Korine movies, modeled in Louis Vuitton campaign ads and also designe

It has been since February that pop superstar Katy Perry released her comeback single, ‘Chained To The Rhythm’. The song did reasonably well, gaining over 200,000,000 streams on the music video, and the stream of Spotify. The song was certified gold in the United Kingdom as well. But at the end of April, Katy surprised us all with her newest single, ‘Bon Appétit’ for support on her upcoming fourth studio album. The dance-pop track features rap trio Migos, as it comes to a duration of 3 minutes and 47 seconds. Join us as we review the brand new track! READ MORE

Such an accurate review tbh (they gave it a B+) It hits on the issue of buildup in the song but still gets a good score Katy Perry's 'Bon Appétit' is a stupid-fun feast: EW Review B+ For the latest taste of Katy Perry’s upcoming fourth album, the pop star is pressing pause on the “purposeful pop” mission she introduced with her semi-socially conscious “Chained to the Rhythm.” Instead — perhaps with an eye on the looming Song of the Summer horserace — she’s back to garish, stupid-fun party jams that don’t even try to be subtle about cramming in as many sex metaphors
