It's ending, not cancelled, the finale has been advertised as the series finale for a while now, they said if there will be a season 5 it will be a reboot and a completely new story so they definitely finished the story properly.

Good tbh  I still watch it but it did need to end, this season has been boring for the most part. Season 3 was a step up from 2 though and when we found out David was alive I felt it could reenergise the show but his return has been anticlimactic for the most part
