Jessie J faced a barrage of abuse on Twitter following her appearance on the Australian Voice on Sunday night, with viewers turned off by the star's low-cut top and nose ring.

The 27 year-old, who joined the judging line up alongside Delta Goodrem, Benji and Joel Madden, and Ricky Martin for the fourth series of the talent show, chose a hot pink two-piece suit from Issa London which left very little to the imagination.

She might have been a fan of the outfit, which she teamed with a pair of Tom Ford shoes, but viewers over on Twitter complained that the look was inappropriate for TV and told the star to cover up.

I would love to be able to wear what Jessie j is wearing , not having to worry if your boobs are going to pop out!#thevoiceau

It wasn't just the amount of skin on show that they complained about, Jessie's septum piercing didn't go down well either. Fans told the Bang Bang star to "take it out," complaining that it did nothing to add to her look.

While Jessie hasn't responded to the criticism, she appeared to have a blast during Sunday night's show, posting a photo to Instagram of her meeting fans in the studio.

It isn't the first time the Brit has stirred up trouble on the show. During the blind auditions she openly clashed with fellow judge Delta Goodrem, who stormed off set after shouting that she was going "to kill," Jessie after a heated exchange.

A spokesperson for Channel Nine insisted at the time that the argument had been genuine and not manufactured to boost ratings.

"What happened during the recording was real in the moment, but they actually get on really well," she said.

"It's an intense competition. The blind auditions are recorded in the space of four days and it's fairly full on."

What's up with Voice Australia and its messiness? Smh. Anyway, let the poor girl live, sometimes I think she's more famous for getting dragged on a daily basis than for ha music.
