Should X have had a different lead?

As much as I love 2 Hearts, it doesn't really represent X's sound (in my opinion at least). Should a different track have been released as the lead, or was 2 Hearts a good choice?

I get the whole 'it doesn't really represent the whole album' argument, but I still think it's a really strong song and definitely deserved to be a single.

As much as I dislike them, Wow or In My Arms would've been better lead singles.

But I don't really see the 'it doesn't really represent X's sound' argument. I mean, yes, its sound is different from the rest of the album, yet X itself is so varied (even random at times) that I couldn't find one perfect representant of the sound.

I agree with how random at times X can sound but I think there's pretty a unifying electro sound running throughout the entire record. And that's something that 2 Hearts lacks in because of it's more rock-influenced sound.
