OK so I have to admit I kind of like Cool for the Summer, but I still feel awkward when I listen to it because it's Debbie Lovato singing a song with.... sexual undertones. To make it even more awkward, Debbie wants to be Miley Cyrus on paper but it never really seems like she wants to go all out with this "new" image - she has lyrics about lesbian curiosity and is wearing more revealing clothing, but the CFTS video was a total PG-rated letdown and so were the live performances, she looks awkward and uncomfortable af dancing in bikinis/corsets/whatever the fuck this is,

 

 

and she still isn't willing to even show her midriff

 

Lastly, her album is called "Confident" which harkens back to her earlier reputation for cheesy self-empowerment songs, so the album will probably be nothing noteworthy for her, and she still gives way too many fucks about what people are saying about her on Twitter - which makes the whole bisexual/lesbian sexy give-no-fucks image seem like even more of a farce than it already is. Miley still managed to upstage her in every way at VMAs and she was just the host And how much did she pay Ruby Rose to say they made out

 

Will Dummi ever really pass through the gate and go full-on slut for her career to finally join the big leagues? Or will she forever be an awkward mess that is just a half-baked version of the real thing with one foot still in Disney Channel?
