If LG5 Flopped?

How would you feel if LG5 flat out flopped, as in having a 45% decrease from ARTPOP's sales? How would you react?

At this point I'm not sure she's ever gonna slay w/ TF/M numbers again so I'll just be content if the music's nice

if it flops hard, we just better hope its a critically acclaimed Grammy winning masterpeice tbh. If she was the type of artist to actually care about her commercial success and she played her cards right this time, i could see this album doing really well. People are clearly responding really well to the "stripped down" musically talented chanteuse that shes been serving for the last of couple years. If she goes further in that direction, maybe like an Adele type album with acoustic yet catchy songs (and obvi some umptempo bops, just no more EDM) she could see a huge increase in sales. but like i said, she could give less of a fuck about marketing strategies and how the public perceives her or her image.

It's good to read that everyone will like LG5 if has good music and will not care about if sells a lot of copies.  I think the same about it, I really love music too much, I mean I think we all listen to a lot of singers that don't sell a lot of copies but their music is still awesome, that's my case I know artists with music that is AMAZING but they don't even get a 80 at USA or UK charts. I really like to see that Gaga gets a new number one and all that stuff, but I don't care about it alot.

I don't think that's completely true. I'm sure there's a part of her that doesn't give a fuck, but there's also a part of her that wishes the public would love her. Just look at 2015. A great year, but what has Gaga & her team been doing? Rebuilding her image. No outrageous outfits? Check. No obnoxious behaviour? Check. Stripped down image? Check. Showing her vocal talent? Check. I'm sure it was something Gaga wanted to do, but it was also a perfect way to get the GP to warm up to her again. Bobby is pulling the right strings and it's working. 

Regarding LG5 all I want is good quality music. If she has success with it then that's a bonus and of course I'll be happy for her, but charts & copies sold don't influence my opinion on what's good or bad.

i think it is that nobody except ppl on flops knows if smthing is a flop cause other ppl like it or not if it sounds good and not know if it is flopped or not. its ok.

If it flops I won't care that much if the music is good, but i don't think it will flop anyway. I just don't want to deal with how annoying Katycats/Medonsters will become if it does

I find it very, very hard to believe it will do worse than ARTPOP, with everthing she's done so well since then: the oscar performance, critically aclaimed C2C, a starring role in AHS. She also seems so much more focused and like she's not trying sooo hard this time around, which is IMO, one of the things that killed ARTPOP (the album and the era).
