Not that anyone will read this but as of 2015...

1.) Taylor Swift - Obviously. She's the biggest pop girl in the game right now. 

2.) Katy Perry - Even though her last era was definitely NOT a monster hit, she's still the people's pop star, and pretty well liked. 

3.) Lady Gaga - Her last album/era was her worst, but she still managed to pop out some mild hits. Also, her success with C2C, Oscars, and AHS has made her a media darling once more. LG5 will determine whether or not she will return to the top spot again. 

4.) Madonna - Her album sold meh but her tour is KILLING it. She's obviously still well known and referenced even if she isn't tearing up the charts. Even if one day a new generation has failed to hear her music, she'll always be the known as the Queen of Pop in the music history books. 

5.) Rihanna -  She's been dipping a lot lately. No one I know from real life even checks for her much, and her promo singles from ANTI (her three time delayed album) have done really poorly and turned a lot of people off. She would be number three on the list, but unlike Gaga, Rihanna doesn't even have an new album to judge her relevancy on and she's not doing ANY projects (besides smoking weed and taking photos).

6.) Britney - Britney, like Madonna, is a icon, who will always be remembered. She may not be up to much but people still remember her pretty well, and celebrate her old work. 

7.) Christina - She hasn't been on the radio in years (apart from her duets) and no one really remembers her hits except her stans. Her album sales are weak, she doesn't tour, and the only reason why she's not on the bottom of this list is because she sits in a chair on one of the highest rated TV shows on NBC. New generations know her as "The Voice" lady, no one remembers her music career except for the few of us who grew up on her back in the 00's. 

8.) Kesha - Unlike Xtinct, Kesha actually does get okay radio play with songs like Timber, Tik Tok, Right Round, and Die Young. Also her Gagaesque antics did get her noticed for a time. But she's been out of the game for a long while, and as time goes on so does the rest of the world. She's not releasing music (not hit nor flop), she is hardly doing any other shows or projects, and she's caught up in a big controversy that is literally destroying her career. If Kesha isn't freed by the end of the year, she's officially done.

People putting Katy at #2 obviously don't understand the term 'relevant' laughcry1 it doesn't matter if you are liked or not. Besides Superbowl Katy has been irrelevant this year. She's not as controversial as Rih or even Taylor so is in the media much, much less, especially between eras.

But then again, having relevance is all about being well known and well liked. Also, Katy is about to start a whole Christmas album campaign, while Rihanna is further delaying her album and hasn't been relevant outside the stan world since FourFiveSeconds. I mean really what is Rihanna up to?

Not necessarily. Celine Dion is well known and well liked but does that make her relevant in 2015? Katy Perry has been a non-factor this year. She'll probably bounce back with this Christmas stuff.

Also your point about Rihanna is a lie when the BBHMM video made headlines and the song has become an underground hit.

There is not one person I know who hasn't heard of Celine Dion or at least Titanic and her Las Vegas show sells more than anyone. brit10

Either way, constantly deep throating the public with your existence doesn't make you Relevant. That would mean Adele has been irrelevant since 21 ended. Yeah considering she outsold all of our favs, I don't think so. ny12

As four Rihonald McDonald, I don't think I have heard one single person mention BBHMM video/song at work, school, or even out in public, and she used to be VERY hot in my area. um2

I guess that's why Taylor is #1 on everyone's ranking right? jj2 But what exactly has Rihanna, Gaga, Brit, Xtine, Madonna and Kesha done to be more relevant then her? Tee hee.
