1. True Blue: A true Madonna X Herb Ritts classic. Herb hand-tinted the black and white photo himself to suit it better with the album title. In the pre-photoshop era, that's awesome.

2. Ray of Light: Minimal make-up and tired motherhood face. Thank God Testino forced her to stay after hours for an extra *free* photoshoot which end up to be the cover.

3. MDNA: Bold colors courtesy of Mert & Marcus + Madonna's usual blasphemous imaginary always takes the trophy [Standard Edition]

4. Like a Virgin: Madonna/whore in one photo? genius.

5. Bedtime Stories: Good thing they ditched the original angelic photo and went with the bolder approach with heavy make-up photo instead. She's not sorry, bitch.

6. Confession on a Dance Floor: Whose idea was it to change her hair color post-production. S/he deserves a raise.

7. Madonna: Now this is how a New York punk kid looks like 

8. American Life: The inlay photos are more interesting than the cover but the concept is there.

9. Rebel Heart: I just don't get it.

10. Music: This cover was to blame for the cowboy hat craze in the year 2000.

11. Erotica: Custom made font or not, this is boring.

12. Like a Prayer: I don't care about the homage, The Rolling Stones did it the best.

13. Hard Candy: What is this?
