Gaga birthed the idea of artistry in 2013, why are all the pop girls suddenly infringing on Gags ha intellectual property? rav1

The idea of artistry always existed. In music, in films... sass1

Just because Gaga was throwing the word "art" around, doesn't mean it was artistic and she was revolutionary at that point. um2

Well, the difference is that Rihanna has actually for the first time ever shown a change in sound. Gaga's "music not the bling" phase was an excuse for her album being shit. The fact it's called ARTPOP when the album got entirely stripped off of any sort of artistic aspect that could be applied to it is absolutely laughable.

dont listen to them alejandreaux. artpop is the greatest album of the millennium (and possibly of all time) you know it sis

Xtina did it with Stripped, and Others before that. Gaga did not birth "music not the bling" or incorporating artistry into music dead2

And tbh, let's all be real here, Gaga has always been about the bling.

Homogenic was incredibly influential in bringing electronica into the music scene. It's sounds are still absolutely beautiful even today. cry1

Selmasongs was a musical soundtrack that used factory noises, basketball dribbling, sneaker screeches, chalkboard clacking and train track chugging as music. So creative and amazingly executed! cry3

Medulla was a completely acapella album that brought Inuit throat singing, choir singing, beatbox, and avant grade styles into focus in one album. Incredible panache! cry4

Biophilia Is the first ever interactive app-based album with newly invented instruments that work in accordance with natural phenomenon - a gravity harp and teslacoil sounds. cry5

Vulnicura had the first 360 degree video and an entire MoMa retrospective attached to it. The recently released Strings remix album features an instrument invented by Leonardo DaVinci. cry6

when will your unoriginal faves TRULY innovate and bring never before seen instruments, sounds, apps, videos, technology, and ideas to the table like Bjork has? cry7
