Yeah, he was asked to do a verse on it by EMI, but Kylie thought it didn't fit the song, so she had him mostly removed. They left in his backing vocals at the beginning though.

Honestly I don't think Photographs is all that bad with will.i.am. He doesn't particularly add anything special and maybe it would be better solo, but I still think it's one of her best songs regardless.
