The only real change was from the fame to the fame monster. The rest is more of the same - kooky outfits and strange "artsy" looks with little meaning. And her change in sound isn't really all that different or new, she really hasn't brought much new musical ideas to the table after the fame except a jazz album. Not really much reinvention... Xtina did it better with vastly different musical types and imagery per album. - 90s bubblegum pop, spanish pop, christmas pop, dirty grungy sexy pop, 50s throwback jazz, futuristic electronic pop, burlesque tunes, and whatever lotus was supposed to be.

But only REAL answer here is Xtina, anyone who disagrees is delusional and that's a fact.

 

When it comes to Rihanna, changing wigs is hardly reinvention, you can easily combine songs from her last 5 albums (GGGB-Unapologetic) and you'll get cohesive album. Musically and lyrically. Let's not bring performances or tours.

 

Gaga's first and only reinvention so far is Cheek to cheek. So she's next to Xtina. She needs her Evita/ROL era now (but working with ReDone again to get her hot 100 #1 hit is exactly opposite of that)

 

The rest don't have R of Reinvention.

 

It still amazes me how after 40 years there is not one girl who can challenge Madonna overall as an artist in every aspect.

There's no need to call anyone delusional though, Xtina is the FOTP fave I've invested the least amount of time in and I simply didn't know  rihsearch is fundamental I guess
