Prism. Purely because Katy released Birthshit and not the smash screaming to happen, the best song on the album, Legendary Lovers ny12

Thought I was the only one that didn't like Birthday orangu1 Unconditionally was a mistake too since Dark Horse was already blowing up, but it's one of my faves on the album and it's my fave Katy video so w/e orangu1

For some reason the first thing that came to mind was Talk That Talk by Rih dead2 Excluding We Found Love, which is probably the most flaw-free pop single released this decade, the rest of them are mediocre imo. Cake and Cockiness are lowkey two of her worst songs. Like BBHMM, they bop hard, but quality-wise they dont leave any lasting impact trash1

PRISM's singles was already lined up from tracks 1-6, 7 to an extent. Birthday was bound to happen. If its anything PRISM had the best singles of any faves. Katy's team surely wanted another 5 no. 1 record, its just that tracks 1-7 was randomly released, they were a bit cocky knowing Katy was so huge at that time. Why release Uncle if DH is smashing? Uncle would have been perfect for an era ending single, PRISM's WA. Birthday was also genuinely loved by the fans, gp and critics alike, it was just released at a bad time. Birthday was the most likely no.1 smashing hit according to critics, its the catchiest thing along with Legendary Lovers.

7. "Birthday" Has (The Most) Smash Potential.

DEFOS not PRISM.
