Katy will flop harder than Gaga next era

Both of their last eras ended on a sour note.

Katy fans cling on to the fact that "Prism" outsold "ArtPop" but that was only because "Dark Horse" saved her era.

Since then, Katy has diminished to irrelevancy. She had that Super Bowl performance in 2015, but that's too little too late.

Gaga at least started doing side projects and high profile TV performances. Now the ball is in Gaga's court and Katy is sitting in the bleachers (probably eating cotton candy). ny6

The truth is, Katy is in a rut. What does she do from here on out? Her biggest producer Dr. Luke has gotten shunned, her audience is growing up, and "Teenage Dream" and its endless sequels are becoming a distant memory. aretha1

stopped reading at "only because Dark Horse saved the era". PRISM had already started outselling ARTPOP long before it became a single. So....

Katy's biggest era doesn't even top Christina's 2nd biggest era. ny6

LMAO. Yes it does Teenage Dream is bigger than any Christina era. Anyone who knows about the sales climate will tell you that

OT: No she won't. Gaga doing all these performances doesn't mean anything to the GP, it's only the music fans who follow this kind of shit. Katy will continue to be bigger. I love both btw.

CA destroyed "Teenage Dream", nice try.

"Stripped"'s worldwide success is remarkable compared to TD's local salvage. ny6

CA didnt destroy shit. It only sold a little bit over 10 million when the market was capable of 25 million rav1 Teenage Dream has 5 #1's and all were sales smashes too. CA only had 3 #1's and all of them except Genie were sales under-performances rav1 Teenage Dream is bigger than any Christina era, and Stripped's global success wasnt that good - it was irrelevant in Japan and France.

he actually makes a good point here interesting1

Gaga indeed has kept herself relevant, Katy is also 31 and alot of teenagers don't like an artist if they get older or start a family

i guess time will tell interesting1
