Kesha to face Dr. Luke under new oath testimony

Recommended Posts

EXCLUSIVE: Kesha to come face-to-face with Dr Luke as she is ordered to testify under oath as part of legal battle with her mother and former producer

 • Kesha has been subpoenaed to speak at a deposition where she could come face-to-face with her alleged rapist - producer Dr Luke

• Dr Luke, real name Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, is having the singer give a deposition under oath and on camera this June in New York City
• The deposition is to address the singer's claims that he raped and sexually assaulted her
• Kesha's mom Pebe Sebert is also involved in the case after Sebert sued Dr Luke for causing her daughter emotional distress
• She also claimed he was supposed to let her co-write her daughter's music
• Dr Luke dismessed these claims and said the Sebert and Kesha made up the sexual assault and rape story to get Kesha out of her contract

I seriously doubt Luke will be at her deposition. It will just be his lawyers. Everyone including Luke will have to do a deposition in the next few months. It's a normal part of the process. Her lawyers will have her practice over and over so she'll know what to do.

 I cant

The Daily Beast said the trial will happen later in 2017. The discovery process which will involve dozens of depositions will end in January 2017.

"The actual trial hasn’t even begun, while the discovery period alone is not scheduled to conclude until Jan. 6, 2017. The trial itself won’t begin until later in 2017"

One piece of good news is that most cases don't go to trial. Over 90% reach a settlement.
