Not this thread being made 9 years ago... a lot have changed since then, we went through two US presidencies, one worldwide pandemic...

Sad, but predictable, that @LÉON would stan these flop girls. rav3

They weren't flops though, most of their hits were all over the radio here.

They had quite a steady career in the UK though. Even then the chart positions don't make much sense as Work, Ego and Higher were everywhere back in 2009/10

Sis you posting these charts only seem to prove one thing; and it starts with L and ends with L.

Sugababes, spice girls and atomic kitten are my UK holy trinity girl group. oprah7 If the Sundays and Girls Are Loud made it to the shores here when I was a teen, maybe I would have stanned them.

I don't get the obsession on here with artists being "local" though, does it matter? No. They had a stable career and were one of the few girl groups that weren't toxic, problematic and didn't have one member trying to outdo the others all the time... Plus they served BOPs.

Now THIS is a fucking bop and it was paid major dust!

I can't be the only person who actually kind of likes Gentleman, even if it has some of the worst lyrics ever. It's so catchy.
